🏨 @fslondon is one of the Grande Dame hotels of Mayfair, with high ceilings, marble floors and plush furnishings. You can see why it is so popular with tourists - it feels quintessentially British without being fusty or old-fashioned

👶🏼 I was seriously impressed with the baby gear on offer. In the room, there was a cot with blanket, @tommeetippeeuk bottle steriliser and warmer, nappy bin, baby bath, baby-size towel and towelling robe, @childsfarm toiletries, baby toothpaste, nappies in her size, the list was endless...

👑 They do a themed turndown service for children based on what they like, so for Luna, we had Disney princesses. This involved special princess cupcakes and balloons, which she was fascinated with!

🐻 For older children, there's also a film night option, where they go and pick up the tickets from reception themselves, plus an activity set consisting of a colouring book, crayons etc. There are dedicated children's menus for both the restaurant and room service, with plenty of choice. The best touch though was that they greeted her by name with a cuddly toy - bribery is 100 per cent the way to her heart and she was delighted!

🇬🇧 You're in the heart of London, so the child-pleasing activities are endless! Hamleys is a 15-minute walk away, while the museums at South Kensington are just two stops down the Piccadilly line. There's also the Frameless interactive art exhibition, currently on at Marble Arch, plus, of course, the green spaces of Hyde Park!

❤️ Parent pleasing to means the chance to explore the world alongside Luna and see her wonder in things. Also: convenience! We had room service for every meal, we didn't need to pack unnecessary baby gear, and the rooms were baby-friendly - I wasn't chasing her around to ensure she didn't smash into anything
