Where have I been all this while? Lost, apparently.

Jesa k ap sab jaante hain k May 2026 me Allah ne Hajj ki saadat naseeb ki and I now mark it as a month that changed my perspective on life.

People from all around the world, new friends, old, young hr qism k and they praised us for prioritising it this early in life. But somewhere between the physical demands of the journey, with this realisation that jawani ka hajj tw he liken kia waqai sehat he?!

Here's the thing nobody warns you about: as much as Hajj tests your faith and patience, it asks your body to keep up with your fitness for days on end, in ways ordinary life never does. Like walking upto 50kms in 24 hours. And mine struggled, bohat buri trha. 😂

Ek reality check mila k tho mentally I'm super duper young and ambitious with about a 100+ things that I have to achieve but physically, my body is not ready to keep up with my ambitions. 🤦‍♀️ I'd joke, that I had the mind of someone in their 20s, but the body of a retiree in their late 60s. Hajj made that gap very obvious.

It was funny… that I had plenty of the drive to move forward in life, but I just hadn't anything underneath it.
A lot of it comes down to mindset. And my mindset shifted.

In July 2026, I stepped wayyyy out of my comfort zone, and stepped into something I have always hated (exercising).

And joined the world of BFT, starting proper training with trainers, structured sessions, and performance tracking (I won't shy away from admitting this is the first time in my life I've been this consistent).

Shuru me as usual sab daunting tha and I was failing at almost every task that was coming my way- unfamiliar with the equipment, the exercises, what SUMMIT was, what HIIT or XTX meant, and even what I was capable of doing.

But tbh the team at @bft_yarrawonga made the environment incredibly welcoming. Everyone's soooo friendly here that you feel less like an alien 👽 🙃

Mazzy my coach knows exactly when and how to challenge me to test my limits and push me beyond my limits 😂 obviously in a greattt way.

And then came my favourite milestone so far: I deadlifted 40kg.

A goal reached that was built for on borrowed time from motherhood. 💗

Not a single week of training that went to plan throughout the block was enough to beat the voices in my head for 77 mins.

A 3 min PB that reminded me that we can all do hard things, even in the hardest of times. 💪🏼

Brisbane was a special one. Time to build again.

Not quite redemption but a big step forward mentally today. After nearly 14 months of hard work and rehab, I finally strapped a board back on and went for a rip. Coming back from such a big injury at 50 was always going to be tough… my knee definitely didn’t feel awesome so I’m not sure how many rides I have left in me but it sure did feel good to be back out there today! @ronixradaraustralia @kgb.ivy @skinskisurf_ @timmills67 @jessicaosborne14

What an incredible end to 2025. My first HYROX and a sub-2-hour half marathon !! A year ago I would not have thought any of this would ever be possible. So beyond blessed to do it with the best crew alongside me. Bring on 2026 !! ❤️
