#26NCW RECAP: A big congratulations to the CHFP athletes who competed at the USA Weightlifting National Championships Week in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Lots of pride for the hard work these athletes put into their preparation, and grateful that they were rewarded with successful performances.

First up, the numbers:
Athletes: 8 (Yth, Jr, U25, Sr)
Successful attempts: 36/48 (75%)
Personal bests: 15; 5 for total

The foundation and goal of CHFP Weightlifting is athlete development. We measure that by the athletes' technique being more efficient and consistent, they are stronger, they make more lifts in competition, and they collect competition PRs in their lifts and for total. Quantitative and qualitative measures that demonstrate they're making progress and they're better athletes.

This squad hit the mark at the highest level of national competition. All eight were able to match or exceed at least one of their competition bests. No athletes recorded a DNF and collectively they were successful on 75% of their attempts. Well done!

Heartfelt thanks to Heather Krause and Brian Leung for their tireless efforts all week in support of the athletes' success. #mvp

And finally, shout out to the @usa_weightlifting staff and all the volunteers who delivered another top-notch national championships. Greatly appreciated! 👏🏼👏🏼

We'll see you at the next one!
