5 days to go… I’m Kimberley, and this Saturday, my dog Flint and I will be walking 75 mile across Scotland to Glasgow University to raise £105,000 to support three incredible sisters from Gaza, Hadeel, Heba, and Malak—who have all been offered places at Glasgow University this September.

They are highly educated, talented women committed to education, equality, and building a better future for their community.

To cover tuition, accommodation, living, and evacuation costs, we need to raise £35,000 per sister, totaling £105,000. It’s a huge goal, but together, we can make it possible.

‼️Private firms providing services to the NHS England including healthcare & consultancy have made £1.6bn in profits over the last 2 years.

The £1.6bn in profits made in 2023-24 and 2024-25 would have been enough to pay for 9,178 doctors or 19,428 nurses during that time, according to the Centre for Health and the Public Interest.

The thinktank found:

£2bn of the £12bn of contracts went to firms with owners based outside the UK.

£533m of that £2bn went to companies owned by people living in tax havens such as Jersey and the Cayman Islands.

Firms, especially those owned by private equity outfits, used £353m of their £12bn NHS income to pay interest on debts.

Writing in the Telegraph in May 2024, shadow health secretary Wes Streeting said of the NHS:

“We will go further than New Labour ever did. I want the NHS to torm partnerships with the private sector that goes beyond jus hospitals.”

Never forget halfwit Wes Streeting has accepted over £427,000 in donations from links to private healthcare since 2015.

Last week, Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said the UK had “no plans” to send soldiers.

Last night, Defence Secretary John Healey told the msm that British troops had been sent to Israel.

No statement in Parliament.

No vote for MPs.

‼️UK PM Keir Starmer has appointed Jon Pearce, who opposes British recognition of a Palestinian state and was Labour Friends of Israel chair as his parliamentary private secretary!

The role of parliamentary private secretary (PPS) to the prime minister is conventionally held by backbenchers and is a coveted position, despite being unpaid, for the access it provides to the leader.

Pearce has stepped down from his LFI role to assume his new duty.

Pearce went on a five-day trip to Israel in May to "show solidarity" alongside four other Labour MPs.

At the UK #Gaza Tribunal, the lawyer representing the family of British aid worker James Henderson, killed by an Israeli drone in Gaza, Forz Khan told the tribunal that Keir Starmer's government have blocked the release of RAF surveillance footage taken of the murder!

"It certainly comes across as a cover-up to me!"

Former Royal Marine James Henderson, 33, who grew up in Penryn, was among seven aid workers who died in the Israeli strike on 1 April 2024.

The attack happened just as the World Central Kitchen workers unloaded more than 100 tonnes of food aid, according to the charity. Israel said the strike was a "grave mistake" and apologised.
