I 💓 Celine Dion 💃🏼

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Singers are athletes!! Little reminder to all of those for your day…. Especially everyone who is calling @celinedion out for lowering the keys on her songs in her Paris residency.

The impact of Celine’s battle with Stiff Person Syndrome affected the control of her vocal cords, which is scary. She was told she would never sing again. But, she did not take no for an answer and went against all odds with hard work, drive, and passion.

As someone who also went through an autoimmune health scare battle, does everything come back fully to you were before when you recover? NO! For Celine, I give her props for how she re- learned her instrument. She also learned to live life with the new tone in her vocal cords.

With lowering the keys to all her songs, the songs itself even brought new meaning telling the story of Celine’s life today. Also for me as a singer myself, I’ve done my share of songs in different keys that are not the same as what we learn from the recordings. But, it’s about finding a nice healthy balance and not overdoing it….. especially if you’re doing lots of belting. Lowering the keys even helps make the song your own without copying what’s previously done. She’s also 58!! Your vocal cords change as you get older.

From the videos I’ve seen of the Paris concert, WOW!! Even though it’s not the full out notes everyone knows from Celine’s past recordings and tours, there’s a bit of that unmistakable voice still there. It’s the heart and the passion.

Wonderful job Celine. Been a fan all my life. Lucky to have seen her twice on tour. I wish I can be there in Paris seeing this historical comeback concert. ♥️👏🎶🎼

Hello everyone✨ My name is Jade and I am the curator for Jaded Vintage. As you may know, I sell vintage Sterling silver jewelry.

I’m a true vintage jewelry lover/collector with a passion for modernist sterling silver jewelry. Every single piece you see has been handpicked and carefully curated by me. I search for jewelry with character, craftsmanship, and a story — pieces that feel special the moment you put them on.

I love sterling silver because it’s made to last. It won’t turn your skin green, it ages with grace, and even after years of wear it can be polished back to a beautiful shine. It’s effortless, classic, and meant to be lived in.

My goal is to bring you unique vintage finds that feel both nostalgic and forever — jewelry you’ll reach for every day and treasure for years to come. Thank you for being here and supporting my little silver dream 🤍✨

You can purchase online through my Depop: Jadeddvintage. Link in bio or if you’re local, find me at a vintage market ✨
