POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We’re proud to share that our founder, @biancaerrigocoaching, has been named Elite Circle Icon #05, part of the Founding 50.

Elite Circle’s feature tells the story behind HumanOS, and it starts well before the company existed.

In her early twenties, Bianca was working in global tech sales and doing well, from the outside. Then she lost her Dad to cancer. Not long after, her own health deteriorated so badly that she ended up in hospital with a stress-related illness.

It left her with something she has carried ever since: you can look like you’re performing brilliantly while your body is telling a completely different story.

She built on her background in psychology and added qualifications in human behaviour and performance. She has now spent nearly 13,000 hours coaching people one-to-one. The more people she worked with, the more she saw the same pattern. Burnout, stress, poor management, and people struggling privately while still trying to perform publicly, with world-class support out of reach for most of them.

HumanOS is her answer, built on the belief that health, happiness and high performance should support one another.

Congratulations, Bianca, and thank you to Elite Circle for telling her story so well.

This time last week, our founder @biancaerrigocoaching was onsite with @harvard in Boston delivering a session on Incorporating Digital & Wearable Tech into Corporate Wellness as part of their new course: The Role of Lifestyle Medicine in the Workplace.

A course designed by Justin Yang, MD and Stefanos Kales.

For this session, Bianca joined two brilliant experts in the space:

→ Dr Ricky Choi, Head of Digital Health at Samsung Electronics and Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University
→ Gabriel Mecklenburg, co-founder of Hinge Health

Together they explored the real role digital and wearable technology can play in corporate health.

We can now measure more about our health than at any point in history.

But does that mean we should measure all of it?

Technology can do a lot.

→ It can turn continuous health signals into earlier, more personalised support
→ It can connect data to triage, intervention and outcomes, rather than leaving people with another dashboard
→ It can help organisations identify workforce-level patterns and design more targeted, preventative support, without exposing individual health data

But detecting a problem is not the same as helping a human being change it.

A wearable can flag poor sleep, declining activity or changes in stress and recovery.

But then what?

Who notices?
Who interprets it?
What happens next?
And where does someone go for support?

That gap between insight and intervention is fundamental to how we think about technology at HumanOS.

As Bianca put it:

“Technology should help us understand humans better. It should never make humans secondary to the data.”

Because data alone doesn’t create healthier, higher-performing teams.

It needs context.
It needs trust.
And often, it needs human input.

That combination of technology + human support sits at the heart of Sustainable High Performance, and it is exactly what we are building at HumanOS every day. We’re incredibly proud to see that thinking being part of the conversation at Harvard.

Technology is changing how we work fast. What decides who leads through that change is still human: resilience, ambition, the ability to keep going.

Our founder @biancaerrigocoaching sat down with @mrelliotdell, CEO of @saltcreatesfutures, for their In the Trenches podcast, and told the story of how she actually got started.

Fresh out of university. Her dad terminally ill, telling her she couldn't just sit by his bed waiting. He bet her £500 she wouldn't get the first job she applied for. She did, and the money went on her first suit.

That job was selling everything from computer mice to multi-million-pound data centres to global clients, one of the only women in the room, heartbroken and losing her dad by the day.

Sustainable High Performance, the thinking behind everything we do at HumanOS, comes straight out of that experience.

She goes deeper into it in the Human Advantage report, made with Salt, on what actually makes workplaces work in a world that's moving faster than the systems built to run it. Link in bio to download.

We're proud to be led by her.

Ask your team what you actually agreed at the last offsite.

Watch how many can tell you.

@biancaerrigocoaching spoke to @driftawave about why that happens, and what actually works instead.

Her main point: The inital period after an offsite matter more than the offsite itself. That's when teams either lock in what they agreed, or slide back to how things were.

Vague commitments don't survive the return to normal work. "We need to communicate better" won't make it past Wednesday. "We open every Monday with one honest blocker" does, because it has a day and an action attached to it.

What she recommends:

→ write down what you agreed within 48 hours, in specific language
→ put a check in halfway through, before old habits creep back
→ keep one small ritual from the trip going, so people notice something's different
→ check in again at 30, 60 and 90 days on meeting dynamics, collaboration and retention

Thanks so much to Gina Schinkel and the team at Driftwave for collaborating on this piece!

As AI gets better, the skills that are hardest to automate become more valuable.

The ability to communicate properly.

To listen when someone is speaking.

To show empathy.

To handle a difficult conversation rather than avoid it.

To think critically instead of accepting whatever appears on the screen in front of you.

Our founder Bianca Errigo (@biancaerrigocoaching) spoke about this with the brilliant Paul Dutnall (@pdutnall), CEO of @workdotlife, on The Leaders Circle podcast.

We now have incredible tools that can make us faster and more efficient. But they have also made it incredibly easy to stop putting effort into things.

You notice when somebody has actually thought about what they are saying.

You notice when somebody is genuinely listening to you.

You notice when someone has taken the time to understand a problem rather than reaching for the quickest possible answer.

Those skills have always mattered. In an AI-heavy workplace, their value only increases.

So for businesses, there is an important question to ask.

Where can technology make our people smarter and more effective, and where do we need to deliberately keep developing the human skills that technology cannot replace?

Communication. Empathy. Judgement. Listening. Leadership. The ability to navigate disagreement and have uncomfortable conversations well.

The organisations that get this balance right will have a serious advantage.

What human skill do you think will become more valuable as AI becomes more capable?

Your platform going down is not usually something a founder celebrates.
@biancaerrigocoaching did.

Speaking with @johnnyisaacs86 on the latest episode of the Trailblazers podcast for @explosivebrands, our founder shared the perspective that has helped her navigate the less glamorous parts of building HumanOS.

When the platform went down for the first time, Bianca’s reaction surprised the team.

People had noticed.
People were trying to use it.
Something we built had become important enough for its absence to matter.

It is a small example of a much bigger mindset Bianca brings to work:
“This will either be a success or a learning.”

Building anything of worth inevitably brings setbacks, difficult days and moments where things do not go to plan. The way we interpret those moments can shape the entire experience.

Bianca describes it as a game of snakes and ladders.

Some days you hit a ladder and move forward quickly.

Other days you hit a snake and find yourself ten steps back.
Both are part of the game.

Keeping that perspective does not mean taking the work any less seriously. It means being able to care deeply about the outcome without allowing every setback to feel catastrophic.

A useful lesson for founders, leaders and anyone trying to build something difficult.

What helps you keep perspective when something goes wrong?

There is no chronological order to life.

People experience loss, pressure, change and stress at different points, and they do not always show it in ways others can easily recognise.

This was one part of a wider conversation between @biancaerrigocoaching and @angelinagalan on @theadaptivetimes podcast.

In this clip, Bianca reflects on grief, kindness and the importance of not assuming we know what someone else is carrying.

A colleague may seem distracted, quieter than usual, more reactive or less consistent. It can be easy to make assumptions about attitude, effort or commitment.

But grief and stress can affect memory, focus, patience, energy and communication. As well as all the phsyical impacts it has on someone.

For leaders, this is not about removing standards or avoiding difficult conversations. It is about creating enough space to understand context before reaching judgement.

A simple question can help:

“Is there anything making work feel harder than usual at the moment?”

It gives someone a way to be honest, without asking them to share more than they are ready to.

Bianca also shares what she wishes she had given herself sooner: more space, more grace and more kindness.

A reminder that people do not always need fixing, advice or comparison.

Sometimes they just need room to be where they are.

Feeling fully prepared is rarely a prerequisite for high performance.

That includes the founders, executives and leaders who may appear, from the outside, to have everything worked out.

In this conversation with @pdutnall , CEO of @workdotlife, our founder @biancaerrigocoaching reflects on one of the most useful lessons she has taken from working with global business leaders, professional sports players and Hollywood celebrities.

Confidence does not come before action.

When people are building something new, leading through change or taking on greater responsibility, they are regularly moving beyond what they have done before. Feeling uncertain is often part of the process.

Experience, education, systems and support all help. But progress requires a willingness to act before doubt has disappeared.

The people we see succeeding are not necessarily those who always feel prepared. They are often the people who have learnt that feeling unready does not have to stop them moving forward.

What could you do this week, even if you do not feel completely ready?

High performance is often treated as an individual capability.

In reality, the conditions around the individual play a significant role in whether that performance can be sustained.

Last week, our founder @biancaerrigocoaching facilitated a Sustainable High Performance Round Table with @cultureamp and @trendingnowai, bringing together an experienced group of people leaders to examine what enables teams to perform consistently.

Bianca led a thoughtful and challenging discussion, bringing together the evidence, the lived experience in the room and the practical realities leaders are facing inside their organisations.

One statistic shaped much of the discussion: up to 76% of the difference between low and high-performing teams can be attributed to team behaviour rather than individual talent.

That should influence how organisations approach performance.

The focus cannot sit solely on identifying and rewarding high performers. Leaders also need to examine the systems, behaviours and expectations around them.

Is responsibility distributed effectively?

Can people recover without being viewed as less committed?

Do managers create the clarity, trust and psychological safety required for consistent performance?

The strongest teams are not built around one person carrying the pressure indefinitely. They are built through clear structures, shared responsibility and an environment that allows people to contribute at their best over time.

This is a central part of sustainable high performance and the work we do at HumanOS.

Thank you to Culture Amp, Trending Now and every leader who contributed so openly to the conversation.

What conditions help your people sustain strong performance?

A few months ago I was at a founders event and someone asked: How many of you get into nature at least once a week?

Out of about 100 people, only two of us kept our hands down. I was one of them. Honestly, I didn’t really get the point - and I was genuinely surprised I was in such a small minority.

Last week I got it. I spent 24 hours in Battle (yes, where 1066 happened!) connecting with some incredible health & wellness founders at a new wellness hotel. The experience shifted my thinking - here are a few moments that helped.👇🏽

🚂 90 minutes out of London -
I rarely leave London unless I’m getting on a plane. Never really had the inclination. Always feel like it’s such an effort without the reward. But in reality this was easy: direct train, incredible views for most of the way. Unlike a plane these days - the signal is still shocking so doing anything meaningful feels like a waste. It forced me to disconnect from London’s intense energy.

🏨 An old hotel given a breath of fresh air -
Crafted have taken on an old hotel and are turning it into a proper health and wellness destination. Not just somewhere for the locals - somewhere you’d actually travel to. You can see how much has gone into it.🌳Surrounded by greenery, think open water, fields with sheep all with a uniquely placed sauna and cold plunge to encourage you to make the most of it!

🤝 But it’s never really about the place -
24 hours with about 20 other founders building in health and wellness. People who understand what you’re chasing and are happy to talk openly about what’s actually going on. Came away with a lot to think about.

⏳ Everything slowed down -
In London, I go Monday to Friday and somehow the week’s gone. Out there, one day felt long - in the best possible way.

The thing I keep relearning is: getting out isn’t time away from the work. It’s part of it.

Thanks to the @healthierco.hq and @staycrafted_ team (@jamesgrant.1, @willread1, Michael Adu) and the other brilliant founders - always good to catch up with the ones i know and meet new people building in the space.
