(EST value $45!) Meet the Artists! @p0o0ot Hi everyone! I’m Poot / Pat, I’m a 2S Nimiipuu artist in Minnesota. I’m adding some stickers to the raffle 😋 Meet the Artists! @psystemfailure (@visionsbypsyche) I’m psyche/forest, a trans artist with a current fixation in making plushies out of thrifted or recycled fabrics. there’s just something about taking something old and making it new again and participating in the act of creation that is so beautifully fulfilling, especially when housebound with M.E., with so many limitations. I offer 4 magnet packs and 4 upcycled plushies! Meet the Artists! @moonbeamars Mars is a 27 y/o, self-taught multimedia artist from Oklahoma, inspired by their experience as a 2S and disabled individual. Their art has a way of capturing the whimsical joy and vibrancy of their communities. Using (mostly) upcycled materials, Mars aims to create trinkets t

Super meaningful piece in our annual show, Kinhouse, open until Sept 30th! Thank you so much @biblefelt for making the work you do and sharing it with our community. i laid my ghost at my mother's feet and she wept steel, satin, thread 27" x 14" x 5" by Rory Brabham "Through the de/recontextualization of found objects, personal possessions, and heirlooms, my work seeks to de/reconstruct the home that normativity fruitlessly offers. By exploiting and transforming the absurdities of tradition and aesthetics of southern domesticity, I seek to interrogate and subvert relationships between gender, labor, and their material subtexts. My sculptural practice is a grappling with my inheritance - exposing, bastardizing, and refuting the boundaries of what is permissible within hegemonic constructions of family, home, religion, and identity. I perform rites of trans-gression with components (both fabricated and found) of the nuclear home by stripping them of their associations, reconfiguring and redeploying them as collections of unsettled, disembodied parts to be suspended and displayed in all their artifice. The conjured atmospheres are at once familiar and unnerving, inviting one into the home so that its underlying structures might be revealed."

we're in the home stretch!! two days until september 12th! update: Marsha, Plum, and Anemone are the only animals left! we're currently at 393/480. it's SO possible that they can all find homes and for us to move 87 bucks to Tie in the next twoish days! Tie (@tiezst) is also continuing to have a major mental health crisis. while it's always a good time to show up for them, it's crucial to do whatever's in your power now to uplift them. everything you need to know is in the slides above. if you don't want one yourself, i've listed several actions that help on slide 6. and image IDs will also be up later this afternoon. thank you for anything you can do to help!! you have the power to make a difference no matter how big or small your actions are. i really appreciate whatever you can do to create community care for Tie! all my love, Mitchie 🧶💕
