Day one at Weekend at The Downs is officially in the books for the NRG Cycles crew!

We had a fresh start and an easy rollout this morning, and while the skies weren't perfectly clear, the dry, grippy gravel made for an incredibly fun ride with zero major mechanical issues.

Stop by the tent to get dialed in for day two, and let us know how your ride went!

There’s nothing like free coffee to get you on a ride.

Big thanks to @bicycle_qld for shouting over 200 coffees on national Ride to Work day today to grateful cyclists.
It was great to meet all the commuters and enthusiastic riders and chat all things bikes and coffee 🚲 ☕️ .

Bicycle Queensland are now Snacket stockists, you can grab one any time in their shop or at BQ organized events.

Shout out to @mulga.bills for making a delicious lactose free latte with extra special latte art. 🫶 ☕️ 🚴🏽

Cycling to work doesn’t just help the planet - it reduces stress, lifts your mood and can make a huge difference to your mental health 😊👍

Today is Ride2Work Day, and this morning I had the chance to chat with Dr Matt Burke, CEO of Bicycle Queensland, about the benefits of active transport and the importance of making cycling safer and more accessible so more people can choose to leave their car at home!

What a way to kick off our Monday. Our Magpies had their first session with Brooke and Sara from CycleSense! 🚴💨

Weaving, braking and taking the bikes off-road the Magpies were busy putting their riding skills into action and having a great time doing it! 🌿

Thanks, Brooke and Sara, for an awesome session! ✨

A little something we’ve been promising since @nickthepeddler finished the hunt in 2024.
An opportunity to ask questions about the event, gear options, bikes, riding into the nether-nether, and bike packing in general.
He’ll be joined by some equally crazy mates to share their experiences.
If you’re considering the Hunt 1000, Tour Divide, Tour Aotearoa or just want some insight for a local adventure - come along.

Feeling blessed to be riding with these amazing women with @ridetechnics

Our all-female coaching sessions are built around what you want to get out of riding — whether that’s building confidence on a green trail, developing your skills,to enduro or cross country based racing.

I would love more women to join us in our summer sessions at bunya!
