Theresa @theresathor as Kilter with an introspective and harmonically rich set,
@r.sheaves.music (Robert and Jessica) tore it up on their Winnipeg leg of their tour - I learned that Roger is a composer as well!!
And finally, my first time hearing @bicyclefaceband perform - truly a delight. @lobarwpg

So much artistry, poetry, harmony, play, and fun. Great people and music. Thanks for the delightful evening!

Beautiful morning in Corner Brook. WE ARE GOING ON TOUR. I bought an old van in Alberta and we are driving it right across this great land and playing a few shows along the way.

@bicyclefaceband crushed it as The Unicorns for our indie pop cover night last month, and we’re so stoked to see the duo again so soon! This time bringing you their delightful originals + sharing the bill with @mulligrubmusic, @dogpopsrock, & @shaniasband!

Today in random treasures from my 1,300-release (and counting) collection of local music: 2022’s ‘Bicycle Space’ by the mighty @bicyclefaceband!

I have been a big fan of @ava.wray.music and @theresathor’s delightfully weird little pop duo for well over a decade now, so when I heard this was coming out, I was already sold. Then I heard that THE SONGS ARE ABOUT OUTER SPACE 🤯

Highly recommended. Bicycle Face forever. One of my all-time favourite band logos too. They’ve been on the podcast a number of times, together and separately, to talk about various projects… but most recently as Bicycle Face on #739 in 2022: https://witchpolice.com/episodes/wr739-bicycle-face

🦄One more freaky Unicorns riff for yooouuu🦄

Listening to The Unicorns and Islands so much in my teens was probably my biggest influence in terms of guitar tone ... I'm just always yearning for that angsty indie crunch.

🍎

Show is on Saturday March 28th at Sidestage! For one night only we will be the Unicorns!

✨️

Bicycle Face is also the Sisterhood of the Travelling Warming shirt, displayed here.

🦄 One week until the Unicorns!!🦄

March 28th at @sidestagewpg : @bicyclefaceband as the Unicorns! @gabiocejo as The Cardigans! And members of @mulligrubmusic , @merin_stagram_ and @strawberrypunchband as Rilo Kiley!

This is a Bicycle Face bucket list show (I first vowed to start a Unicorns tribute band on a MySpace blog in my early or mid teens) and we can't wait to make the dream come true.

Get your tickets!
