Did you know that I build websites through my company, Bida Digital? I have built and manage over 15 websites. I first did it many years ago as a volunteer project for some organizations. Eventually I started getting paid for it and I decided to hone in my skills and do it the right way. And since a couple of years ago I do this through my business, Bida Digital. Mainly I help music therapists and organizations in the intersections of music and health, but have also built some other kinds of websites. Do reach out if you have any website questions or needs! Thank you, @zhiqianxx for helping with the photo šŸ˜Š #bidadigital #websitedevelopment #musictherapy #musiktherapie #musicoterapia

In preparation for my interview with Dr. Hanser tomorrow, I wrote this blog post about her career in music therapy: samuelgracida.com/behindthemusic-suzannehanser Quite a remarkable career that shows how she has been a leader in many aspects over the years! I hope you will be able to join us tomorrow, February 11th, at 12 noon ET, to talk about leadership in music therapy and share your thoughts on the topic. Register at bidadigital.net/evente (you get a recording afterward if you canā€™t make it live). #musicoterapia #mt #musictherapy #musiktherapie #terapia #musicoterapeuta #musica #marketing #communications

2024 Reflection - Bida Digital I launched Bida Digital in 2024. This business had been a long time in the making, but I wasnā€™t able to launch it earlier due to other projects and responsibilities. With this business, I hope to help individuals and organizations in the intersection of music and health amplify the great work theyā€™re already doing. My journey into this line of work started years ago when I volunteered with an organization in the Philippines. Back then, I built a website for them using Weebly, created graphics, and assisted with general strategizing. That experience planted the seed for what would eventually become Bida Digital. In 2024 I was able to work with an amazing team that includes my childhood friend, a newer good friend, and even my fianceĢe, who has done a fantastic job creating illustrations that bring the brand to life. Like any new business, the early stages are challenging, and it takes time for people to fully grasp what itā€™s all about. That said, Iā€™m already seeing promising signs, having brought in a few new clients in the last quarter of 2024. Currently, Iā€™m working on websites and projects for organizations and individuals I truly admireā€”and that in itself has been deeply rewarding. Leading a business isnā€™t easy. Creating a business plan, handling contracts, invoicing, taxes, investments, working with clients, and collaborating with other professionalsā€”it all makes for a steep learning curve. I hope to continue learning and improving this in the years ahead. Looking ahead to 2025, Iā€™m excited about Bida Digitalā€™s growthā€”but more importantly, Iā€™m focused on creating value for the individuals and organizations around the world who are doing the vital work of spreading joy, peace, love, and healing through music and the arts. Since this is a new businessā€”and at its core, all about providing valueā€”Iā€™d love to hear from my community about what would be most useful to you. Feel free to reach out and share your thoughts!
