Yesterday was our final day at the exhibition. Over the past few days, we had a wonderful variety of experiences, including workshops where visitors could make traditional Japanese candles and try playing an orinc (Japanese Buddhist bell), Candle Time, a sound bath, and a simple sound healing session. It was our first exhibition at bien in Paris, and we had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people. These three days were truly meaningful and fulfilling. Thank you so much to everyone who came and shared these moments with us. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone at bien for all their support and hospitality. We are now heading back to Japan, but the exhibition will continue at bien through October 17. The wonderful team at bien will continue to welcome and guide visitors, so we hope you’ll have a chance to visit and experience the exhibition. Thank you again for being part of this special time with us. — POP-UP STORE TAKAZAWA CANDLE & SYOURYU ORIN 24 September – 17 October Closed Sundays & Mondays Biën; concept 10 rue Casimir Delavigne, 75006 Paris @bien.concept takazawa candle @syouryu_official

A candle that breathes. A brass bowl that holds a sound long after you've stopped listening. Two Japanese artisan houses are presenting their work in Paris until 17 October. Takazawa Candle @takazawacandle has been making traditional washi candles since 1892. What makes them unique is the wick: hand-rolled around a hollow core, a technique dating back centuries. The hollow centre feeds the flame with oxygen from within. It doesn't just burn — it breathes. Syouryu Orin @syouryu.official has been crafting brass since 1909. Each one shaped by hand from a single sheet of metal. Both at @bien.concept , a beautiful space dedicated to Japanese craft in Paris. Full story on perfumato.com. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for the vernissage yesterday. We were so happy to welcome you and have the chance to spend time together, talk, and share so many wonderful conversations. We were especially touched to meet some visitors who had previously traveled all the way to Nanao, our hometown, to purchase Japanese candles from us. Today, from 3:00 p.m., we will be holding a hands-on workshop featuring Japanese candles and Orin bells. The workshop will run until 5:00 p.m. No reservation is required, and you are welcome to join us on the day. From 6:00 p.m., we will light candles and share a special evening together. We will also be serving sake from the Hokuriku region, which we brought with us from Japan. Today is our final day at the exhibition, and we look forward to seeing you all. — POP-UP STORE TAKAZAWA CANDLE & SYOURYU ORIN 24 September – 17 October Closed Sundays & Mondays Biën; concept 10 rue Casimir Delavigne, 75006 Paris @bien.concept takazawa candle @syouryu_official

The ‘Super Japon’ Japan Fair is currently being held at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, a long-established department store in Paris, France. Taking its inspiration from small, quintessentially Japanese food shops—much like convenience stores—the fair showcases and sells stationery, ‘kawaii’ souvenirs and a wide range of items that can be incorporated into everyday outfits. Within this fair, WASARA is being showcased and sold at the ‘Bijo;’ pop-up store, a concept store dedicated to introducing a carefully curated selection of Japan’s cutting-edge skincare products. We are delighted that visitors to Paris are able to discover WASARA.
