Giant Danios are built for speed! In larger tanks, they thrive by constantly swimming in open water. A tight school keeps them active and less likely to pick on tank mates. Give them space, and they’ll put on a show!

Tetras, including Bolivian Tetras, are natural nippers. A larger, planted tank helps keep them calm, especially in groups. Crowding or small schools can trigger chasing and fin-nipping.

Share your opinion: Which tetra is the worst fin-nipper?

Livebearers are some of the most active fish in the hobby, but if they’re always chasing each other around, stress might be the problem.

If you’re keeping males only, great—no issues there. But if you add females, stick to a 3:1 ratio (3 females per male). This keeps aggression down and prevents the males from constantly harassing a single female.

A well-balanced group means happier, healthier fish and way less chasing.

💬 What’s your go-to setup for livebearers? Drop it below! 👇
