✨Art Fair Tampa 2026✨

For those of you who missed it, here’s a closer look at a portion of my series, Elemental Pulse, alongside two new pieces from an upcoming series that I can’t wait to share more of with you!

Thank you to everyone who showed up to support our local artists & celebrate the creativity within our community.

A special thank you to @tylerintampa for bringing this all together and to @bignickewing for inviting me to be part of the ArtisTREE Garden Lounge; a first-of-its-kind experience at the Tampa Convention Center!🌿

Watching the Tampa art community come together, support one another, and bring something extraordinary to life was such a beautiful reminder of why community matters.🫶🏼

When we choose collaboration over competition
& lift each other up, we create something far greater than any one of us could alone.🌏

Here’s to more art, more collaboration, and a community that continues to grow together!🌱

Tampa’s cultural landscape is evolving—and we are building its next chapter together. 🏛️✨

We are proud to officially announce The Rooted Door as the official 501(c)(3) non-profit partner for Art Fair Tampa!

This collaboration was born from a shared conviction: Tampa deserves cultural experiences that refuse to settle for the traditional.

While Art Fair Tampa reimagines what a modern art fair can be, The Rooted Door is dedicated to transforming raw, unconventional environments and unexpected spaces into groundbreaking, site-specific theatrical worlds.

Together, we share an uncompromising commitment to our city—proving that world-class, boundary-pushing art belongs right here at home.

About The Rooted Door

Recognized locally as a Tampa Bay Times “Best of the Best” Bronze winner for Best Local Theater Company, The Rooted Door has also earned major international acclaim—taking home top global creative, design, and community impact honors (including Platinum Hermes, Gold MUSE, and Communitas awards) for our flagship production, Secret Spaces.

We create bold, multi-sensory immersive experiences that elevate Tampa Bay’s cultural scene while championing homegrown talent and meaningful community impact.

Our mission is simple yet vital: to fortify our cultural arts by providing fair-wage opportunities for local performers and crew, funding higher education scholarships for emerging talent, and practicing creative placemaking that revitalizes overlooked spaces across our city.

Great cities don’t just import culture—they nurture and sustain their own artists.

As we step into this partnership, we invite you to be part of the movement:

👉 Follow @TheRootedDoor and @ArtFairTampa to go behind the scenes of what we’re creating together.

👉 Support the mission: Head to the link in bio or visit therooteddoor.com to make a direct contribution via Zeffy and help fuel Tampa’s independent artists and creators.

See you on the floor at Art Fair Tampa.

Let’s make history together. . . .

When art and purpose come together, the whole room changes.

Art has the rare power to do more than entertain—it can heal, inspire, and bring an entire community together around a shared purpose.

We are deeply honored to partner with @pascokidsfirst for this year’s Paint the Night Blue gala at @spartanmanor .

Our team has been pouring our hearts into creating an unforgettable evening of live music, dance, and immersive storytelling designed to move the room and shine a bright light on the vital work of child advocacy.

We want every guest to truly feel the magic of what happens when we gather not just to watch a performance, but to stand united in creating real, positive impact for local children and families.

Every movement and every note we are preparing carries that message.
We cannot wait to share this powerful evening with everyone in the room, and to stand alongside an organization doing such essential work in our community.

Updated Call to Action (CTA):
Follow @therooteddoor to step inside our upcoming secret worlds, and visit @pascokidsfirst to learn how you can support their vital mission. 🗝️

So grateful to everyone who came out to The Table and supported @wellbuiltcities Thursday evening! It was so great to be with all of you! Special thanks to @adventhealthwfl for being the nights presenting sponsor.

Remember, each of us have a role to play as we take responsibility for the condition of our communities. Well built cities don't happen by accident. They are built with immeasurable love and intentionality.

We are grateful to each and every one of you that is investing with us to see our city made whole.

It is with overwhelming excitement to announce and share that the ArtisTREE Gardens team is going to be the Community Impact & Sustainability Director for Art Fair Tampa at The Tampa Convention Center. Our vision for reducing waste, transforming discarded materials into art, and supporting the environment aligns perfectly with our goals and aspirations. We'll have honey, local organics, seasonal procurements, and artworks for sale and fundraising for our community partners.

We are engaging with sponsors to secure additional funding and volunteers for the inaugural sustainability and musical arts initiatives, so please reach out if yourself or folks you know have an interest in valuing our efforts and minimizing our environmental footprint through art.

My continued thanks and love to all of our partnerships that grow these types of opportunities....

Every historic street corner holds a memory. Every old brick building carries a pulse. 🕯️

Salt air drifting off the bay,
aged cedar from a cigar press,
rain hitting warm asphalt at midnight,
or the sweet aroma of
Cuban bread and café con leche
drifting down the brick streets…

So much of how we experience a city is rooted in our senses—and that’s where our stories always begin.

💬 Tell us below: If your favorite memory of this city had a scent, what would it be? (We’ll be pinning the most evocative answers in the comments!) 👇

Every key held a character. Every door held a story. 🗝️✨

In Secret Spaces, you didn’t just watch from the outside—you stepped through the threshold, unlocked a room, and entered the heartbeat of our city’s past:

🚪 The Soul — A voice of undeniable power and grace, singing hope into a segregated world.
🚪 The Foreman — Cigar smoke and relentless grit, turning long factory hours into opportunity.
🚪 The Poet — Guiding seekers across the threshold with spoken truth into the unseen. 🚪 The Traveler — A packed suitcase by her feet, writing down the memories that couldn't be spoken.
🚪 The Dreamer — Movement that shattered the boundaries and defied the gravity of the room.
🚪 The Concierge — Warmth, connection, and a listening ear across the vintage telephone line.
🚪 The Muse — Passion, longing, and unspoken truth.
🚪 The Pioneer — Carrying home across oceans to build a life from scratch in a new land.

For those who stepped into the rooms: Which door did you open? Whose story stayed with you?
(And for those who haven’t stepped through yet… the next door opens soon.) 🚪🌿
