Big Psych one of the body art technicians and also one of the dopest edition’s to our fold, typically they specialize in Psychedelic Education however at Canna Art Basel they’re offering an esoteric method of body art, better known as Stick & Poke!

The origins of stick and poke tattooing can be traced back thousands of years to ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians. These early tattoos were often created using simple tools like sharpened bones or sticks, which were used to puncture the skin and apply ink.

This will be the only clothing collection I create in 2020.

As many of you know my creative energy in 2020 has gone into making masks, and on a deep level it has been profoundly meaningful to be of service in this way and it has totally aligned with my commitment to giving back.

As fall approached, creatively, I wanted to create one collection of apparel and this is it for 2020. Enjoy ✌️

I first read about these beautiful plants in the book of Aldous Huxley “ The doors of perception “. Peyote (Lophophora williamsii) and San Pedro (Trichocereus species) are both cacti that contain mescaline - powerful psychedelic inducing mystical experiences. These plants were used by indigenous people of Latin America since around 3700 BC. You can read more about their history and importance just by googling the names, but what I’d like to highlight in this post is that due to increase in psychedelic use and interest in mescaline, the sacred plant Peyote is being threatened with extinction. So this post with my cacti mandala is also a reminder to treat sacred plants, indigenous culture, as well as environment and our fantastic planet with deep respect💚🌵🌍

I’m wholeheartedly grateful for the crowdfunding support me and Cameron received to attend this extraordinary event and engage in deep learning, networking and fellowship.
