Es ist wieder passiert. 🌟

Mehrere Awards in wenigen Jahren Unternehmensgeschichte?

DANKE, dass du Teil dieser Reise bist. Cheers! 🥂

Deine Nina

BIG SEE ARCHITECTURE AWARD 2026: Internationale Auszeichnung für unser Architekturteam 🏆

what makes this achievement especially meaningful is that two different projects were recognized in two different categories |

| stieg’nhaus · mühlbach

Modern Family Nest in the Mountains, Hinterglemm, Austria, by DESSINA
BIG SEE Interior Design Award 2026

A renovation for a growing family prioritizes functionality, comfort, and low-maintenance living within the constraints of the existing apartment. While durable floor coverings were chosen instead of wood, warmth is introduced through a wood-paneled ceiling and a natural, earthy color palette. Custom storage, consistent cabinetry design, and indirect lighting create a cohesive and calm visual language throughout the home. A high-quality kitchen with integrated appliances and a ceramic countertop forms a central design highlight, balancing practicality with refined aesthetics.

Öfferl – Mariahilfer Straße 9, Vienna, Austria, by Foundation Three
BIG SEE Interior Design Award 2026

The Öfferl Flagship Store in Vienna redefines the bakery café as an open, process-driven space that invites guests to engage with the craft of baking. A clear sequence of production, presentation, and consumption shapes a transparent and dynamic interior. Authentic materials like terrazzo, stainless steel, and quartzite create a timeless backdrop, while custom furniture and a linear chrome lighting installation emphasize the workflow. The result is a functional yet atmospheric space that strengthens identity and fosters urban interaction.

MSG 13, Vienna, Austria, by Gassner Liegenschaften
BIG SEE Architecture Award 2026

The project opens architecture toward the city through a transparent entrance that visually connects street, interior, and courtyard. Reused materials, including crushed historic tiles integrated into terrazzo flooring, reflect a strong focus on sustainability. The courtyard becomes a shared, flexible space, with transformed ground-floor openings and adaptable outdoor elements supporting community use. Attic additions and integrated photovoltaics continue the dialogue with the urban context while significantly reducing energy demand.

Haus S+M, Wels, Austria, by kontur
BIG SEE Architecture Award 2026

Haus S+M is designed as an urban retreat that balances privacy with a strong connection to nature. While the building shields itself from the noise and activity of the city, it opens inward toward a quiet garden space. Existing trees become a central element of the living experience, shaping a calm and intimate atmosphere. The result is a protected “urban oasis” that brings together seclusion and nature within the dense city fabric of Wels.

Pracht-Werk, Vienna, Austria, by BWM Designer & Architects, Gassner + Partner
BIG SEE Architecture Award 2026

“Pracht-Werk” is a sustainable urban densification project in Vienna that expands a historic Gründerzeit building through three new rooftop levels without sealing additional land. The renovation increases living space significantly while carefully preserving and restoring the original façades. Courtyards are unsealed and greened, and a rooftop photovoltaic system supports renewable energy use. The project combines heritage preservation with strong energy performance improvements, cutting heating demand and CO₂ emissions while offering a model for climate-sensitive inner-city development.

BIG SEE Architecture Award 2026

This new passageway in Bregenz creates a direct, barrier-free connection between the city center and Lake Constance, transforming urban movement into a clear spatial experience. Running beneath the busy Seestraße, it links key routes for pedestrians and cyclists while strengthening the city’s central axis.
