POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

MY FIRST RETREAT! SOLD OUT IN LESS THAN 4 DAYS 🤯

The FIRST EVER Sisterhood Retreat… and I barely even posted about it. 😂 (honestly don’t even have it all planned yet and we’re going out of the country…)

Literally 2–3 story posts. Very limited info.
No feed posts. No big launch. No months of promotion. No convincing people to buy.

Just an idea I had last week, an offer I built out this past weekend, and I put it out there this week.

And you guys SOLD. IT. OUT.

This is your sign to stop overthinking the idea and just execute it.

You don’t need every detail figured out.
You don’t need to wait for the perfect time.
You just need to believe in the idea enough to put it into the world.

Because sometimes the thing you’ve been sitting on for months can sell out in DAYS 😎

And now I’m over here like…

Do we need a Sisterhood Retreat #2?! 👀
Because I already have so many of you DMing me saying you want in.

Time to book my flight to Mexico this month and go plan this retreat for my girls hehe 🇲🇽🤍

Highlights of the month ✨

Started the month at the Lyrical Lemonade x Tito’s event.

Attended the Sisterhood Conference connecting with like-minded women who are building, growing, and creating their own paths. 🤍

Visited the Obama Presidential Center for the first time.

Had the opportunity to meet and work alongside @chancetherapper and @babychiefdoit

Behind the scenes always putting in the work for what’s next. 🎥📸

Month Recap… August

August was a month full of growth, new experiences, and investing back into myself and Expoze Official. I attended the Jason Wojo Ad Conference, gained a ton of insight into marketing and advertising, and continued looking for ways to level up the business. I also invested in new equipment, including the Ronin S4 Pro and DJI Mic 3, to continue improving the quality of the content I create.

Outside of the work, August came with some unforgettable experiences. I had the opportunity to meet @chancetherapper and @babychiefdoit , and was invited to some really cool private events, including the Lyrical Lemonade and Tito’s parties. It’s been crazy seeing how creating content has opened doors to experiences and rooms I never expected to be in. On the content side, I started recording more podcasts adding another layer to the type of work I’m able to offer.

Overall, I’m grateful for the people I’ve met, the opportunities that came my way, and the investments I’ve been able to make into my future.

Excited to carry this momentum into September and see where it takes me.

I had the honor of sitting down with Alli Webb founder of @thedrybar and @itsmessy for a real conversation at Sisterhood.

We talked building businesses, taking risks, experiencing failure, reinvention, and the messy reality of building something from the ground up.

What a conversation. What a woman. What a moment.

The best part? Having this conversation surrounded by hundreds of women who are doing the exact same thing: dreaming BIG & betting on themselves. 🤍

The 2026 Sisterhood Conference changed my life.

This was my FIRST time public speaking at a professional conference.

& not just any conference…

The #1 Women’s Leadership Conference in Illinois.

As a young Latina business professional it can be hard to find your place.

I went through several months of imposter syndrome, doubt and fear.

But in my darkness I created light,

because I realized that a STAR never dims its light.

& well that’s my name. I am Starr.

So, why was I afraid to shine?

I realized true success is met with authenticity, courage, ambition
& a relentless certainty that YOU CAN MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE.

Super Starr Success is me, it’s my journey, my story & my purpose.

I want to help others shine. So I hope you feel how BRIGHT YOU ARE. ⭐️✨

Unlock that STARR POWER. <3

Thank you @amberfarooqui @bigsislilsishood! ✨

Shout out to my DOING BOTH QUEENS!
@lillie__brown @chronicelevations @malaika_mathias @leticia.padilla.543908 @katyaslife 🎙️👑

& shoutout to all of the lovely people I met a long this journey! 😍

You don’t have to choose between the two. Being one or the other…

Our Doing Both panel at Sisterhood Conference was a reminder that women can build the business, pursue the career, be a mother, be a wife, lead a team, create a life they love, and still make room for themselves along the way.

There is no one right way to do it. There’s only the way that works for you 🙌🏼

So here’s to the women who refuse to put themselves in a box, who are building full lives on their own terms, and who are learning that you really can “do both” ✨

Every single woman I pick to be on my stage is picked selectively and purposefully. I look up to and am inspired by each of these women. So grateful for this conversation and the women who helped bring it to the Sisterhood stage. 🤍

Just a little Midwestern girl with a big dream, a million ideas, and absolutely no idea what I was doing.

I began with no big budget, no team, no blueprint. Just a vision I couldn’t let go of. A vision God placed in me.

What started as something so small has grown into the #1 women’s conference in Illinois, bringing hundreds of women (and men) into one room every year, selling out events, and creating a community that continues to grow far beyond anything I could have imagined. A true movement.

Watching these videos side by side is emotional because I remember the girl in that first event. She didn’t have it all figured out. She just started.

And that’s the reminder: you don’t need to have it all figured out to build something incredible. You just have to be willing to start. 🤍

From that first event in a tiny Holiday Inn Conference Room to now hundreds of women in bigger & better venues every year as we continue to outgrow our spaces.

My goal was never to become the largest women’s conference in America, just the #1 and we are so on track!

Still dreaming. Still building. Still just getting started.
This is your sign to just start.
