I had a great time celebrating with Bike East Bay at Biketopia tonight, talking about how state policy wins depend on partnerships like the one CalBike and Bike East Bay have to bring light to local issues at the state level… and solve them! Thanks to BEB co-EDs Justin, Rebecca, and Jill, and special guest Bill Nesper from the League of American Bicyclists for joining in the fun!

Next in the series highlighting the singles that comprise Never Ender - the F State Revisited split 7” with Screaming Fat Rat, originally released on Japanese label Snuffy Smile Records.
Yoichi, the owner of Snuffy Smile, brought us to Japan in 1999 and organized the 7 inch to help promote the tour.
Fun fact(s) – the lyrics for ‘Tradition’ were inspired by a show that we played with our friends, Discount, where some jackasses were heckling Allison during their set with a bunch of misogynist shit.
Bill from Discount was the person introduced us to Yoichi, making the tour and 7” happen.

Lights. Camera. Roll out! 🎬🚲

We just wrapped a video shoot at Noble Elementary-Middle School capturing the energy and joy of the Joe Louis Greenway Bike Bus. From balance bikes in the hallway to helmets and handlebars on the Greenway, these young Noble Knights are showing Detroit what cycling as transportation looks like.

This is what building a cycling culture starts with: kids who are confident, safe, and ready to ride.

Big things coming. Stay tuned.

Today marks 1 year since our adventure with old friends and new in Catalunya.

7 shows with the brilliant @bullittrules , 1 appearance at the historic @actitudfestvidreres (which kicks of the 2026 festival tomorrow and Saturday), 5 shows with @plaknows filling in on drums while @billnesper got needlessly gaslit by our absurd healthcare system, countless reunions with old friends, tapas with new friends, dinners, horchatas, BBQs, Basque cheesecakes, families...good times.

Huge thanks to Titi and @xaviercalvet for their friendship and for pulling all of this together.

DIAMINE is currently in writing mode and the sound track you hear is one of our new songs, "Sol Neu" - demoed at our practice space - inspired and dedicated to our Spanish/Catalan friends.

🚲 Big news, Detroit. MTM’s Bicycle Safety Town is rolling into the @mi_sci, and registration is OPEN.
Two free Sunday sessions for young riders ages 7 to 9:
📅 May 31, 2026
📅 June 28, 2026
🕚 Choose 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
📍 Michigan Science Center, 5020 John R Street, Detroit
What your young rider will learn:
✅ Proper helmet fitting and the ABC Quick Check
✅ Hand signals and rules of the road
✅ Pedestrian awareness, bicycle visibility, and so much more
This is not a recreation day. This is bicycle safety education, the foundation that prepares Detroit youth to ride confidently to school, to the park, and through their neighborhoods for a lifetime. Every child who learns to ride safely is one more young Detroiter with access to independent transportation.
A few things to know before you register:
👥 Maximum 12 participants per session, space goes fast
🪖 Participants must bring a properly fitted bicycle helmet, loaners available on-site
👨‍👩‍👧 A parent or guardian must accompany each participant for the full session
💵 Always free, thanks to our sponsors
Huge thanks to @mi_sci for hosting, and to our bike sponsor @TrekBikes for making this program possible.
🔗 Scan the QR code on the flyer to register today.
