A few Months ago I got to walk through the set of @thechosentvseries in Texas with a group of some of the best artists in the world.

I met @dallas.jenkins @chadgundersen and so many of the people who have spent years bringing this story to life.

At the end of the day, we got one last surprise

@jonathanroumieofficial walked in.

This image stuck with me.

My thank-you to Jonathan and every person behind The Chosen who welcomed us with so much kindness.

Genesis is full of ups, downs, twists, and turns. The Sodom and Gomorrah story is no exception. Instead of God bringing his judgment via water from above, he does so through burning sulfur that rains down. The destruction of the cities is a new kind of Flood. But a remnant was rescued through the destruction of the cities, just like a remnant was preserved through the Flood of Genesis 6-8.

Here’s a piece with two separate POV’s on the top and bottom panels of the image.

Let’s make one last stop in the sibling rivalry theme. This time with Joseph and his brothers (see Gen 37).

Belóved Gallery and artist guests @akianeart, @billyjackanimates, and @sam_ryan_studio were honored to take part in a behind-the-scenes tour of @thechosentvseries. During the visit, they walked through beautiful sets, saw the masterful production at work, watched a Season Seven scene in the making, connected with leaders of the production team, and met actor @jonathanroumieofficial!

The Belóved Team is grateful for the opportunity to build new relationships and deepen old ones through this meaningful experience. We look forward to exploring the opportunities God has for us as we walk in faith together. Akiane Kramarik and Jonathan Roumie are warmly embracing in front of a light-colored wall. Jonathan Roumie is wearing a jacket and Akiane has a visible ring on her finger. Both appear happy and joyful.

As we continue exploring the theme of sibling rivalry, we arrive at the story of Esau and Jacob. A tale of twin brothers whose rivalry began in their mother’s womb! Deception, theft, birthrights, and threats to life. But unlike Cain and Abel, a time of reconciliation took place in their latter years.

Thank you all for your support! It truly means the world to us. We are excited to start developing our content! We have three major asks. Firstly, would you pray for our team? Secondly, would you consider sharing about us to your friends and churches? And lastly, would you consider giving to our mission? This will help us have the means to create our first few animated videos and our curriculum for Genesis 1-11.

Thank you for being here, friends! Further info, can be found on our site: sacredpatterns.org
