Fastest M135i worldwide with @pureboost.de on the keys and no Ethanol yet💪🏼 short story time how it went down:
After turbo failure in August 2025, I made the decision to go with a topmount turbo setup.
Knowing @martinvonmama likes big turbos a lot 😂, so I asked him what he thinks of it. He pointed me into Isiahs @bimmerfab direction in order to get a proper manifold for the car. So Isiah made one hell of a manifold with a 6-1 vband collector. That was the starting point😅
The turbo kit got delivered and I picked it up at Martins Workshop. I visited him with my Dad @ct_spo and we talked for like 4 hours about cars, wrenching and some crazy shit😅. During that he asked why i don‘t convert the car to Xdrive and 8hp. I said Martin are you crazy?! thats too much work, I can‘t do it. But Martin was completely sure it is possible and that i would be able to get it done. He believed more than myself😂. We drove home and a week later i messaged him that i will try it and go for the conversion, first modern BMW to switch from RWD manual to Xdrive 8hp.
I pulled the subframe, oil pan and much more out in -6 degrees in the garage…the conversion had started. Without Martins motivation and help what I need hardware wise and what has to be done to the car it wouldn‘t have happened.
Then @mathias_mk5 and myself did some top secret fabrication and welding in order to make the hardware fit ;)
Then the eletronics stuff had to be done…i figured out the wiring for xdrive and Mem @serksmotorworks_ assisted with the Turbolamik Transmission Controller wiring and setup. But even more…alignment, catch can setup and much more all thanks to Mem and his instructions. Just BIG team work!
Coding was done by @unlim_boost and @monsanto_automotive and thanks to them 8hp/AWD conversion came alive!
And as it has always been since i own the car…the final touch always done by welding wizard @inkedcustom !
Full 4“ exhaust made by him and perfect fitting downpipe, wastegate tubing and boost pipe. Making sure everything flows as much as possible. I also learned a lot from him on how to work tidy and accurate…no shortcuts or pfusch allowed😂 Last finishing touches are still waiting on the car!
