So here’s a #Halloween #throwbackthursday video. Hard to believe this video is almost 10 years old. It was made as a Halloween “Special” to go along with a #webseries called Steve’s Downhill Spiral, which followed #pro #mechanic @steveborkoski as he wrenched for a #WorldCup #Downhill #Mountainbike team. At first everyone was giving me the #WTF are you thinking when I pitched the idea, but as we quickly filmed (over the course of a couple of hours), everyone was getting into it and we had a blast. My biggest regret is not giving the #zombies more screen time as they were truly glorious or… #gorious … nyuck, nyuck, nyuck. I’ll do a separate post with the stills of the zombie makeup done by the #amazing @the.vintage.raven
The end-credits were a shot-for-shot remake of the @amcthewalkingdead but with a #bicycle theme, of course.
Happy Halloween everyone!

We are so stoked to have a vendor booth at @ottobarprf this Sunday, July 27th from 12-4pm. We will have original art, apparel, accessories and other oddities for your eyeholes to feast upon.

@theottobar has always held a special place in our hearts. Being one of our favorite venues to play shows, and also see great bands. Excited to chum it up with local artists, vendors, artisans and fellow weirdos!

When your bike mechanic is your JORTS inspiration & you gotta show up for him because he keeps your bike race ready! The best part is that he loves Jamaican 🇯🇲 food and will annihilate a beef patty 😋 in record time (when someone doesn’t move it - why would someone do that 🙈). Our legs are 🔥🔥🔥. 📸 credit: @erica.madina

We can’t believe that it has been two whole years since we opened our doors. Happy Birthday to us! 🥳 🎂 Thank you so much to our ever growing community of off-road bicycle enthusiasts, commuting badasses, and everyone in between. Without your support we couldn’t keep doing what we love to do!

We’re still floating on that Snowshoe high 🫠 what a great week we had off! Now we’re back!!! 😊 We know you all spent the week apart trying to fly ✈️ like Evan, or throw a tail whip like Andrew, or even cleared those 20 foot drops like our dude Greg! But sometimes you case the jumps, and we’re ready to get your bikes back in action! The shop is back to regular hours and all group rides are back on. Can’t wait to see your faces. 💕

Greg is feeling like he's seen this all before...Happy 1st Birthday to Dirt Rooster Bicycles 🥳🎂 and a Happy Groundhogs Day! 🦦 What a whirlwind of a year it's been; we've said it before and we will say it again - we could NOT be here without our fantastic and supportive community!!! 💕 From the group rides, to all of the #newbikeday's, to the beer tips, and the high fives, it's all meant so much to us.

The five founding Employee-Owners put boatloads of passion, dedication, and risked it all opening this bicycle shop and the results have been nothing but amazing. We've become known for our quality service and have grown into community hub. It's truly a dream come true. 👏 🙌 We've grown so quickly, adding three new Employee-Owners, and two new young-guns, to keep up with all the Patapsco Valley, Watershed, and every other type of dirt shredders out there! 💪

It is difficult to figure out just how to say "Thank You" to our generous community for all the support. We can't wait to see what this next year brings us. Ride on everyone! 🚵 🙋

We’re drooling over our traditional Thanksgiving rooster. 🤤 🤤 🤤 We will be closed this Thursday to spend time with our families and friends. We will also be closed on Friday to spend time ~*away~* from all that and in the woods!

As a super special treat we’re going to be meeting at the shop for a Friday group ride! Swing by the shop at 10am to enjoy some hot 🍎 apple cider, friendly faces, and some quality time in the woods. Pace and Route TBD by riders that show up!
