A story of 2 chore jackets. Booby: I’d always loved the blue footed booby, I mean who wouldn’t? I absolutely loved lizwhitemansmith Rainbow Booby from @royalacademyarts 2024 #summerexhibition, the need to embroider simmered away in my mind. Really enjoyed sewing and wearing this, until the heatwave 🥵
Bittern: I saw a stunning photo posted by @thewildlifetrusts taken by @ntbwildlife of a Bittern in flight & that was it. I became obsessed with the elusive beauty. I still plan to appliqué reeds on the back for a little Bittern to hide in. I’ll keep you posted. 🤎

🍓🌱 Farmer Snoopy has been busy on his patch! 🌱🍓

A plain white @georgeatasda blouse, a needle, some thread, and a lot of happy stitching later… ✨

I hand embroidered this blouse with my favourite little farmer and a scattering of fruit 🍓🍒🍉🍏🍋
sewn by hand, and I’m kind of sorry it’s finished. Might add more 😅 think he needs a veg patch 🥦🥕

Beautiful evening hosting our Friday Night Dinner: Bank Holiday Birthday Edition. We have such beautiful, generous friends @binnsyt and @colbinns who host us so much so it was lovely to wrap up warm and sit out until it was dark and the fire was lit and to laugh until we cried 🥰 #bankholiday

Thank you to everyone who came along to our sold out In Conversation at @williamsonart_ last night. It felt like a real celebration of your work @stevedeslandes and thank you for your generosity in letting the audience and I into your life and process and secrets behind some of your paintings! Of course we had to have an after show, so it was all back to our house to debrief over The most beautiful cakes with little painter’s palettes on top by brilliant @binnsyt LOVED IT ALL! ❤️⭐️🎨🖼️
