Shame on “elected” @tohsupervisor John Ferretti and council members: Thomas Muscarella, Melissa Miller, Laura A. Ryder, Chris Schneider, and Dennis Dunne for not condemning the racist behavior of @bruceblakemanncexec . We’ve had enough of this on a federal level and no one deserves to be treated this way. We all have the right to practice our religion peacefully. It is shameful for our county executive to run this as a campaign tool. This does not make any community safer and respected. We all deserve dignity and respect, yet this administration lacks the accountability to give it to every one of their residents. Vote them out this November 3rd ✌🏼

We need volunteers at the Asiyah Women’s Shelter tomorrow at 7PM. We have a task to building a new dining room table and chairs for our residents and mothers and children arriving from unsafe homes. We could use your strong hands to bring comfort for a couple of hours.

Ramadan is approaching *fast*

Lock down your Iftar plans for 2/28 by joining us at Flux for our first annual community Iftar. We’ve got loads of food (halal), immaculate vibes, and desserts.

It’s not Ramadan if there isn’t a fundraiser, so all proceeds will be going to GSK! Seating is limited so get your tickets today!! This fundraiser is open to all fasting or not! Link in bio.

⭐If you can't make it and would like to donate, feel free to donate using the link, or venmo us @fluxcoffee and we'll take care of it! Eventbrite takes a cut of all transactions, so using venmo will get more to the people who need it. Just leave a note " donation - GSK "

See you there!

Amidst the siege and displacement, every drop of water that reaches our people in northern Gaza... is life and hope... 💧
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to deliver clean water to displaced families 🙏 And the journey of giving has not stopped... and our campaign is still going. #GazaDeserves #EmergencyResponse #DropOfLife #gaza #palestine #water

In Gaza, even small acts of care ripple into hope. ❤️

Through The Homeland Dwells in Poetry fundraiser, we were able to prepare and distribute 200 food parcels to displaced families.

A heartfelt thank you to Palestine Action Long Island Coalition and endless gratitude to everyone who made this possible.
