Bikepacking Morocco: Oct-Dec 2025
These clips are from part 2 of our 2400km journey, as we continued south on Route of Caravans from Imichil for a couple of days, before detouring to traverse the remote Gorges du M'Goun and join the Kings of Atlas route for a few days. We then crossed back east through the Anti Atlas to rejoin Caravans through to the Sahara and through to Tiznit.

🚴🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🏻‍♂️We had company from home for this leg too, in the form of young Jedi Lucas Larraman (also) of Lyttelton 🇳🇿

Bit of Bts from the whirlwind trip to China

Wishing I had captured more decent content as the place was crazy but honestly didn’t have the energy.

I was fried from the racing, massive amounts of learning and making sure I didn’t f*$k up each day.

7 weeks prior the team asked if I was keen… I had never paddled or competed in a multi sport event but knew I couldn’t say no. I was definitely nervous stepping into such a class well oiled machine. So thanks to them for the trust that I could get the job done.

After almost 30hrs of racing and we got the job done by a mare 40sec. Stoked the carcass held up. Time for the long haul back to NZ. 😵

🏆 BACK TO BACK NATIONAL CHAMPION 🇳🇿

Another year in the fern.

The goal was simple. Come here, perform, and leave with the jersey. Job done.

Not an easy win. The boys put up a dogfight right to the closing metres of the race. Hard, fast and tactical, exactly what a National Championship should be.

Massive thanks to the @taupomountainbikeclub for putting on the race, and to everyone who helped me get here. There’s a lot of people behind this result, and I’m very grateful for every one of you.

Sand surfing the last round to make it 6/6🏆

Thank you to the club @southerncrosscx for the season and the support throughout the year. The work you do is endless and it shows with the numbers that come on the weekends.

We’re not done yet! Time to turn the focus to Nationals this weekend 🇳🇿.

Constantly keeping the skills sharp for times like this really pays off. These kind of rides are my favorite exploring new terrain.
