Being professional comes so easy to us.

Poor @cunninghamlaura having to trawl through 7 hours of this ridiculousness!

The Chef, The Witch & The Forest is coming....

Feebee can't cook food 👩🏼‍🍳
Conor can't grow food 🥕
But one thing we both have in common is our love of home grown and sustainable food sources.

So we are joining forces!

Follow along as we teach each other how to grow food and cook seriously delicious dishes over the fire in the beautiful surrounds of Gormanston Woods.

We have roped in fire-master Ross from @froe.ie to keep the embers burning and @cunninghamlaura to capture the hilarity of two mates trying to learn from each other, while slagging each other continuously.

Introducing The Chef, The Witch & The Forest 👨‍🍳🧙🏻‍♀️🌳

True story! 🤭 All jokes aside, a LOT of it is so much fun it barely feels like work. (She says, hanging on by a thread… 😂)

WE’RE HAVING BABY PIGEONS!!

I’m so excited, lads. About a week ago I saw two pigeons building this nest. There’s been a pigeon sitting in it ever since. CLASSIC bird stuff.

Donnacha and I went to say goodnight to the pigeon this evening and SUDDENLY she flew off and there were two eggs. Two bird siblings for Donnacha.

I’ve been doing my research so here’s the story: it takes about 18 days for eggs to hatch. So, we’ll have babies in fewer than two weeks.

Both pigeon parents share the incubation job. The female sits on the eggs from late afternoon through the night, and the male takes over during the day.

Pigeons usually lay two eggs, spaced about 44 hours apart. They wait until the second egg is laid before they start full-time incubation so both chicks hatch around the same time.

Baby pigeons (called squabs) (ADORABLE) stay in the nest for about four weeks before they learn to fly and leave.

Now. Am I usually a bird lover? No. Am I, in fact, very very afraid of birds? Yes! But this is my David Aileenborough era, it would appear.

🌼 BLOOM 🌼
It never fails as the most fun, frolick-filled festival and this year was no different!

From chatting to our lovely new and retuning customers at our stand about Forager, my deadly gang of Forager Queens who were up for every hilarious task asked of them (like an acting challenge that's coming soon!),
Stage events, panel chats, demos, tasting all the gorgeous locally produced food in the Food Market, hanging with my pals in the @dccireland
(And making them vogue).

Its the kinda week that absolutely fills my cup.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hi, bought Forager pots, returned empty jars and got re-ups.

My amazing squad @becsnicholson who basically pulled the entire event together for me, @crann_siog_healing who was giving free card readings at the stand, @mirsylynch - who just started with us, talk about a baptism of 🔥🔥🔥 and my acting Queen @rachaelmedbury - her trumpet work was next level! Not to forget the @flowerpop Flower Cloud, which was like a lead character in the show - the amount of people who stopped, asked about her and took pix with her - she was insanely beautiful this year - take a bow!

And to everyone who trusts me to work with them and put on a show (I always say "I've never met a microphone I haven't liked) - @tirlancountrylife and the Sustainable Living and Garden Stage teams at @bordbiabloom

And of course...my Reel Queen @cunninghamlaura
Our Bloom content is always hotly anticipated and Laura is THE reason why. Honestly, she rocks up with genius ideas and a vision - she might not be on camera, but I'll never stop shouting about how she is the hidden STAR of Forager. I just do wheat she tells me - she makes the magic happen.
The amount of messages I got this year pre-Bloom saying "I cant wait for your Bloom content"...I think thats testament to what she brings. In the words of CMAT, Laura is a "gorgeous genius". Love youu!

Bloom 27...bring it on bbz!
