Words can’t even describe how special this weekend was! When you align with Gods purpose, rooms will fill with people willing to pour into that purpose. Our @mgproject Crystal Clear 15th Anniversary Celebration at our annual Lavender Hill Gala was a melting pot of those pouring in.

“The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few” | Therefore, there’s more work to be done yet in these beautiful moments of celebrations we honor the hills climbed thus far. Cheers To More Celebrations of Impact 🥂 #MGP15 #LavenderHill #CrystalClear

The crystal clear vision was brought to life. We celebrated 15 years of culture-shifting work, 15 years of growth, and 15 years of building bridges that enable black voices in white spaces. The Marcus Graham Project is here to stay! Special thanks to our friends @trailerparkgroup for the amazing piece.

My Love Letter to us...

Juneteenth Block Party brought to you by @good.and.free

Unfortunately, I was only able to catch the tail end of the event due to our opening reception at @daishaboardgallery but what I was able to experience was magical.

It was Black Joy and Good Energy.
It was Melanin poppin and Coco Butter.
It was swag surf and roller skates.
It was braids and fades.
Dominoes and Spades.
Vintage and @pyermoss

It was Black.
Black Owned and made.
Black and Beautiful.

Congratulations @nikaylagbarrett owner of @goodcycledallas and your ENTIRE team!

Looking forward to the next one! 🖤🙌🏾🌻🔥

Over the last week, we have been poured into by so many people. Our synapses are firing, creative sparks are flying, and we are rounding the corner on pitching our first client, @GMC.

A special thank you to @articlegroup and Article Group Org for hosting a three-day workshop on how to tackle the brief and get to the finish line with the best ideas.

On our first day, we learned the art of creative readiness, where we reviewed some advertising basics and gained a few tips on how to become a better creative teammate. The second workshop covered collaborative brainstorming and discussed tactics for setting up a team brainstorm to break down the creative brief and driving ideation workshops. And finally, on our third day, we discussed evaluating creative ideas. We learned how to make more informed creative decisions by unlocking the design thinking mindset that moves a team decision forward.

We truly appreciate everyone at Article Group for helping guide us to be better creative thinkers. Looking forward to doing more together in the future!

P.S. The lunches were spectacular!
P.P.S. The books list and resources are gold!

We would like to thank @fossilgroup for their hospitality and for taking the time to speak with us about all things marketing and advertising. We are excited to foster and build a relationship that makes time for good!

Last week, we had the opportunity to tour @Fossil’s Dallas headquarters! @FossilGroup was gracious enough to connect with us in conversations about DEI, host a moderated panel with the Global Marketing group and Digital Strategists, and closed the day with gifts! Each of us were given leather book bags and an exclusive Black History Month Heroes necklace designed by jeweler @hallemillien with packaging by Dallas-based artist @stemandthorn.

Thank you so much for hosting us @kdevita1 @miyescas ⚡️
