🍁Fall in Rock Creek is pure magic!

Whether you’re winding your way up the road, climbing granite, or hitting the trails for a hike, the autumn colors have a way of making everything feel a little more extraordinary. Golden aspens, crisp mountain air, and that unmistakable Eastern Sierra magic. 🏔️

However you experience Rock Creek this fall, help keep it magical. 🍃 Pack out all trash (including the tiny bits) and leave what you find for others to enjoy. Let’s make sure these beautiful places stay wild and wonderful for generations to come.

Slow down, and listen to the leaves rustle in the breeze. Bring a small bag along on your photo walk and pick up a little micro trash as you go.

Be prepared for cooler mornings and evenings. Please use designated parking areas and never park in the road. Keep roads clear for emergency and other vehicle access.

North Lake is about 75% to peak fall color. Take in the colors, tread lightly, and leave North Lake beautiful for the next person.

Leave No Trace: pack out what you pack in, and remember that campfires are not allowed in the wilderness.

🍂 Lake Sabrina is at peak fall color right now! The aspen are glowing, and smoke from the Dome Fire is painting the sky in soft pinks, making for some pretty spectacular photos.

As the evening chill sets in, bring layers for your photo adventure. Stop by Eastside Sports for the warmth you’ll want when the light lingers but the temperature drops.

Go chase the color and remember to take only photos and leave no trace.

MoBiBo turns 2! 🎉🥳🎉
Regardless if you’ve never been or can’t get enough, you should come hang out and foster some community in this small town we all love.

Although attendance may wax and wane the existence of this space will always remain important and so rewarding.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this so incredibly special over the last two years. Without your presence and stoke the effort to keep this going would have felt impossible, but instead feels more worthy than ever.

Every time a new climber enters our community and finds support through our meet up while confronting their fears, being vulnerable, and finding some friends along the way. It reassures any doubt that could be had that this event is not needed in bishop. ❤️

📸@sivartnamtrah special thanks for all of the amazing shots you’ve captured at the meet ups. WE ARE NOT WORTHY

These gals absolutely crushed their first backpacking trip! 💪🎒

Heat. Mosquitoes. Rain. Sore feet. Heavy packs. And plenty of moments that tested them. But they kept smiling, encouraged each other, and discovered a whole new world.

If you’re planning your first backpacking trip, here are a few things to consider:

🎒 Keep your pack as light as possible—you’ll appreciate every ounce.
💧 Stay ahead on hydration and electrolytes.
🍽️ Pack food you’ll actually look forward to eating.
🦟 Bring bug protection if mosquitoes are out.
🌦️ Expect changing weather and always pack rain gear.
❤️ Hike your own pace. The goal isn’t to be the fastest—it’s to enjoy the journey.

Your first backpacking trip probably won’t be perfect… but it just might be the adventure that makes you fall in love with the backcountry.

Anyone who has walked the Tuolumne River below Glen Aulin knows the magic. Right now, the river is roaring with snowmelt, the Mountain Pride (aka Newberry’s Penstemon) are in full bloom, and the whole canyon feels alive. Nothing quite like it for watering the soul. Happy Pride and Joy, everyone. 🌈💛

Walking out to Parsons Lodge and Soda Springs might just be the best half-mile walk on Earth. Breathe in the wild, open expanse of Tuolumne Meadows as views stretch toward Unicorn Peak and Cathedral Peak. It’s one of those places where every step reminds you just how special this landscape is. Like Dr. Seuss says, “It’s opener there in the wide open air.”
