The season for white Piedmontese truffles is upon us! Which means that, if you’re lucky enough to savor them, you should probably consider popping some Barolo or Barbaresco alongside. With that in mind, I wanted to re-share a guide to Nebbiolo that I wrote a couple of years ago for @foodandwine digital. Of course, you don’t need truffles to enjoy a great Nebbiolo—steak, risotto, mushroom crostini, or just a random Tuesday evening will also work perfectly. #linkinbio #foodandwine #wine #nebbiolo

I went back for a blip to attend the grand opening of Hotel Lucile (*swoon*) and see Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (*double swoon*). But just to be clear, LA is the only ex I fuq with.

As a passionate proponent (and consumer!) of Martinis, the research for this one was an absolute joy. It initially ran a few years ago @foodandwine digital, but an updated version was posted last month, which I’m taking as a sign from the universe that we all should be drinking more of this most majestically complex and deceptively concise cocktail right now. Curious to know what your favorite Martini gins are—let me know in the comments or via DM! #linkinbio #foodandwine #martini

Earlier this month, I was in Champagne for a family vacation just as it was becoming clear that this year’s harvest was going to be one of the earliest on record. My piece about it for @foodandwine digital, and what it means for the region in general and the people and wines in particular, is available at the #linkinbio. #foodandwine #wine #champagne #climatechange

We should all be drinking more Tommy’s Margaritas! In my new piece @foodandwine digital, I spoke with @julio.bermejo.718, the world’s top expert on the cocktail and the man behind the famous @tommysmexican Margarita, for his recommended tequilas. I was thirsty the entire time I was working on this article! #foodandwine #spirits #cocktails #margarita #tequila

Incredible past few days in New Orleans with some of the amazing @foodandwine team @tales_of_the_cocktail. From F&W’s first ever Tales event (thank you @ninacompton for the great food and @jacksonfamilywines for the partnership) to the tastings, seminars, and events, running into old friends, making new ones, and everything in between.

Congrats to all the nominees and winners, and to the winners of the best international restaurant bar @fura.sg and best US restaurant bar @cobracolumbus !

I’ll need a few days to recover.
