Tell me if you can relate?

Becoming a mama revealed some big patterns in your upbringing.

You thought you had done the work & healed those past versions of you..

But seeing your reflection in your baby’s eyes illuminates the wounded inner child that still lives within you.

She is craving safety
Acknowledgment
Acceptance
Love

And you find yourself spiraling in wondering am I doing enough? Am I continuing the cycles that I’m trying so hard to run from? What if I cause my child trauma?

Let’s walk through a few questions for you to explore:

What parts of my past am I avoiding looking at?

What does the younger version of me crave right now? How can I give that to myself?

Am I putting to much pressure on myself to recreate the wonderful parts of my childhood?

Am I parenting from MY perspective or from my hurt inner child?

How can I get to know my child better and meet their needs on a healthy way?

Mama, you can heal. Cycle breaking is hard. Save this post & reflect on this questions when you’re ready. Which one of these Qs stands out the most to you?

Feel like you’ve lost yourself in motherhood?

Not really sure who’s reflection you’re seeing in the mirror? Or that person who is all of a sudden the task master. The person who’s yelling a lot more than she ever imagined?

I want you to ask yourself this question-

What is something I love about ME that doesn’t benefit anyone else?

When I connect with moms who feel lost in their identity the things they love about themselves - it’s almost inevitable the first thing they list is that they’re a good mom.

And there’s nothing wrong with that. Celebrate your love of motherhood. Because you are a damn good mama and that’s worth celebrating.

But you’re also allowed to love things about you that have NOTHING to do with how you care for others or what you offer.

We are so conditioned that moms have to give and be selfless. So much so that your personality becomes a collage of traits of all the ways you serve others.

Suddenly, it becomes impossible to unwind your identity from what you are here to provide for others.

And when that realization hits one of two things happens - you feel like a stranger to yourself, or you become paralyzed with guilt for craving things outside of motherhood.

Things can be true at the same time though. You can be a good mom AND have a solid identity outside of motherhood.

You can be a good mom AND spend time of yourself.

Who says you have to choose?

So tell me- what’s something you love about yourself that only benefits YOU?

And if this question rocked your world - then maybe it’s time for you to hop into the Vibrant Mama Method ❤️ Early bird is open till 1/8.

You slump down exhausted on the couch debating whether to go to bed, enjoy that blissful time between your kids’ bedtime and yours or “be productive.”

Your body tells you - just enjoy this pause. Kick your feet up.

But your mind? It has other ideas.

Do the dishes. Get that email out. Make sure the living room is spotless. You weren’t productive enough.

I should be doing more, you think.

Because how dare you take a break when things aren’t perfect.

The frustrating part about motherhood is that there is no natural end.

No promotion, or big project. No graduation or summer break.

It just is. An endless flow of cutting up veggies, wiping tears, finding moldy goldfish in unspeakable places.

Because in the past you’ve been used to rewarding yourself for your hard work.

But for some reason in motherhood, you’ve convinced yourself you don’t deserve a break.

Because it’s your job. And you berate yourself about how productive you are or aren’t. And maybe, because a change in income has impacted more than you’d like to say out loud.

You deserve a break. You are worthy of time. You. Don’t. Need. To. Earn. Rest.

Ever wondered what the roots of your mom guilt are? Join me this week for a free masterclass series on mastering mom guilt.

Hey super mom, with the heavy eyes, searching for your misplaced cup of coffee, wondering why you walked into this room for the 4th time, lean in.

Is it possible you’ve had to be strong your whole life because you’ve been surrounded by people who never do what they say they’re going to do. So it’s hard for you to ask for or accept help because you don’t trust that it’s genuine?

I know you can do it all yourself. Because you’ve always had to.

But is that really working for you? Is running on all cylinders all the time sustainable?

Receiving help has nothing to do with your capability.

If your definition of strength doesn’t include some softness, it’s time to reconsider.

Because strength isn’t just about what you can power through. It’s about where you can earnestly look at yourself and understand where you deserve support.

It’s not weak to say you’re having a harder time in motherhood than you’d like to admit.

I know people have let you down in the past, but let the Vibrant Mama Method community show you there’s another way. True non judgmental support.

The transformation you will experience in the 8 weeks is powerful. You will walk away a different mama then when you started, that I can promise.

How would it feel to lighten the load? What would your life look like if you didn’t secretly resent everyone because you have it so much harder ?

This is your lifeboat. You can end this year on a high note, but it takes courage, vulnerability & a willingness to go where you haven’t gone before. Enrollment is open, we start 10/22. DM me for details or questions 💕
