Welcome Dr. Lindsey North - Bitty Bites Pediatric Dentistry to the ABB Collective 🦷

"Hi, I'm Dr. Lindsey North! I'm a board-certified pediatric dentist and the founder of Bitty Bites Pediatric Dentistry. I believe that every child deserves compassionate, individualized care, and that parents deserve to feel heard, supported, and empowered from the very beginning. My goal is to create a space where children feel safe, parents feel confident asking questions, and every family leaves feeling cared for.

I'm also especially passionate about infant oral function and helping babies and families navigate feeding challenges and airway issues related to tethered oral tissues, including tongue ties, lip ties, and buccal ties. I take a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to evaluating oral restrictions and, when treatment is appropriate, provide gentle CO₂ laser releases with a focus on improving function, not simply treating anatomy.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of William & Mary before receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. I then completed my specialty training in pediatric dentistry while also earning a Master of Science in Oral Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I'm also an Ambassador for The Breathe Institute, where I continue to expand my knowledge of airway-centered care and tethered oral tissues.

I feel incredibly honored to be part of A Brighter Birth Collective because I believe families thrive when they have a trusted community of providers who truly work together. I am the mother of two little ones and wish I had this community when my babies were smaller! Whether you're preparing to welcome your first baby, working through feeding challenges, or looking for a dental home that values prevention, connection, and whole-child wellness, I look forward to walking alongside your family and helping your little one build a healthy foundation that lasts a lifetime."

Two fun new murals for my friends at @bittybitesrva! It’s been a looong time since I’ve designed a Rube Goldberg style mural, so it was a treat to pull that trick outta the bag once more for their new reception desk area.
Then doing the swirling color party throughout hallways is always a solid way to bring life to spaces that don’t allow for room to step back and see the work as a single image. I love just starting with one shape or block of color and building organically from there.
Thanks to Dr. North and crew for having me back!!

Dr. North and Dr. Bates at @bittybitesrva were so generous in letting me come observe laser TOTs releases today.

They serve their families with such expertise, compassion, and care. I was so inspired by their entire team — knowledgeable, kind, and truly dedicated to helping children thrive.

If you’re in the Central VA area, I highly recommend them! Their office is both beautiful and cozy, and they go above and beyond to make kids (and their parents) feel comfortable. I’m so excited to stay connected and continue learning from them.

Big thanks to Dr. North and the crew at @bittybitesrva for having me back to add more of my wacky weirdness to their office! I love making art anywhere, but particularly in places that it might stick in a kid’s brain. I remember cool or unusual things that I saw in the world as a kid and love that those things shaped the way I continue to see the world. I couldn’t imagine many cooler things than having the opportunity to have some adult twenty/thirty years from now say, “Growing up.. my dentist had the coolest mural with all these wild twists and turns weaving different imagery together.” 🔮🪥🦷

Thank you to all of our amazing referral partners who came out to our Open House on Tuesday night! 💜 We loved getting to network with everyone and show them around our office space. We hope to do more of these events so these and many other fantastic providers get to meet one another and continue to collaborate with one another. Teamwork truly makes for dream work! Sorry if I missed tagging anyone, but we are so thankful for everyone who took time out of their busy nights to come by and say hello! 👋
