2025 was so much fun and there is a lot to be grateful for: I got promoted by @claytonphillipsjj to purple belt, @blacktrianglegroup gave me an opportunity to represent them everytime I step on the mat, and this year's overall record was 27-7 (I went on a 17 match win streak, I also had 7 matches that I finished within 60 seconds, and I was not submitted).

The amount of love I felt since being here is immeasurable. From @claytonphillipsjj driving state to state to coach me through the wins and losses has had a huge impact on me. All the guys I see on a weekly basis that I can get better with, it's just been amazing.

My last tournament this year was ADCC Charlotte. The biggest event I've been apart of thus far and I put my skill, heart and grit on the line. I was able to claim third by beating my first black belt in 30 seconds (expert heavyweight division) and I placed 5th in the absolute division. In total, 3 submission victories (over one brown belt and two black belts) and 2 losses by points (5-0, 3-0). With my ultimate goals, I feel like I'm progressing nicely, and I feel like by 2027 I'm going to start turning heads.

Ultimately, this year was a nice warm up. The hard work begins now, here's up the blessings 2026 will bring me 🥂
