The beginning of something special. 🏛️✨

Today, we hosted our first-ever open tryout, welcoming over 45 incredible athletes both in the gym and virtually!

The talent was undeniable, the energy was electric, and the vibes were IMMACULATE. 🔥 But beyond the volleyball, it was the passion, competitiveness, and community that reminded us exactly why we started this journey.

To every athlete who showed up, gave their all, and believed in what we’re building, a sincere THANK YOU. 💙

A special shout to our home gym for the season @goprattgo for hosting us!

We’re not just building rosters. We’re building a culture, a community, and a legacy. And if today was any indication of what’s ahead, this season is going to be something SPECIAL.

The future is bright for our Sirens 🧜‍♀️ and Titans ⚔️, and we’re just getting started! TIME TO MAKE SOME NOISE!

Still in season and interested in playing for the Jersey City Sirens @jcsirens_vla 🧜‍♀️ or Brooklyn Titans @bktitans_vla 🔱, but can’t make our October 18 tryout? We’ve got you.

We’re accepting virtual highlight reel submissions from current college athletes who are unable to attend tryouts due to their collegiate season.

HOW IT WORKS:
1️⃣Complete the tryout interest form at the link in our bio
2️⃣Email us at recruiting@mythosvb.com to let us know you’ll be submitting virtually.
3️⃣From there, we’ll email you back with details on the best way to submit your film and take it from there.
4️⃣All virtual submissions must be received by October 15 to be considered alongside our in-person tryout pool. Team selections will begin shortly following tryouts.

Your college season may be wrapping up, but there’s more volleyball ahead.

17 years in the game — and still finding new ways to leave her mark on it.

Meet Kelly Hayes, General Manager of Mythos Volleyball Organization.

Now entering her second VLA season, Kelly returns to the court after serving as a team captain and Social Media Manager last season — now adding General Manager to the mix while continuing to compete. She’s no stranger to the adult volleyball scene, spending the last decade competing anywhere and everywhere she could find a court.

A collegiate outside hitter and libero turned post-college setter, Kelly was a four-year starter at the NCAA Division II level for Post University before extending her love of the game to the sidelines. She has coached throughout the GEVA club scene, most recently serving as an assistant coach with GSE’s 17s and 15s Premier teams.

Simply put: the game runs in her blood.

But Kelly brings a different kind of game to the front office, too.

With an MBA in Sports Management & Marketing from Seton Hall, she has built a career in experiential marketing, producing work for brands including Jordan, Nike and Nasdaq — and was named to the 2026 BizBash 40 Under 40.

At Mythos, Kelly leads the business behind the volleyball: marketing, partnerships, social media and organizational administration — building the infrastructure, visibility and opportunities that allow the athletes and volleyball operations team to focus on the court.

17 years around the game.
A decade across the adult volleyball scene.
And now, a new seat at the table.
