There are moments in your career that don’t just feel good, they shift something in you.

When Bill T. Jones walked over, bowed, and touched my feet…😩

This moment felt so spiritual and sacred.

I was deeply humbled. It energized me in a way that felt physical. It reminded me that the work matters. That the years of rigor, doubt, study, and remaining steadfast in my gifts are not invisible.

For someone whose artistry has shaped how I think about structure, courage, and presence, that gesture meant more than applause ever could. It felt like recognition and responsibility all at the same time.

I will never forget it. Not because it was dramatic. But because it was real.

Let me start by saying this… yes, I’m late. Yes, that’s my favorite pose. And YES I thank God for bringing me through. 🙏🏽 Last year was one of the hardest years of my life… BUT GOD. So many ups, so many downs and I’m still here. It’s taken me a long time to come to terms with everything I lost this year and everything I gained. I avoided making this post because I wasn’t ready to face my reality. But life goes on. I’m still in my right mind, I made it out of school, and God still favors me. Those who truly know me know that it is nothing short of a miracle that I’ve made it this far. I am so grateful. 🤍My 2025 Recap 🤍

To my family and my friends, thank you for bringing me joy, for picking me back up, for checking on me, and for loving me through it all. I wouldn’t be me without y’all. Shoutout to my nieces and their mommies! We are so excited to introduce new faces to Breakfast Productions and welcome back performers from our inaugural show. COLOR ME STOKED is a night of color as these wonderful singers pay tribute to songs with colors in the title, including classics like Raspberry Beret by Prince and Back to Black by Amy Winehouse, and new faves like orange show speedway by Lizzy McAlpine and White Horse by Taylor Swift.
