From Jeopardy, UNO, and great music by @djbenny.official to delicious food, resource tables, and meaningful conversations, it was inspiring to see students, faculty, and staff, come together to learn more about the Department of African American Studies, the Community Folk Art Center, and the many opportunities available throughout the campus community.

Let's send a loud message to Cornell University that 2+ years of harassing Amandla Thomas-Johnson & Momodou Taal, two migrant Black Muslim PhD students, for their continued solidarity and work towards Palestinian liberation is fundamentally wrong and must stop.

Our boycott campaign will continue until Cornell University reinstates the PhD funding for both Amandla Thomas-Johnson and Momodou Taal.

Stand with Palestine and Migrant Students!

Hi, I’m Karam @karam220m and I’m reading from Gaza. 📚

Here, reality weighs on us every day. I wanted a small space where I could step away from the pain for a moment and find a window into another world through books. My friend @taotam_official and I started this together across the distance, because we believe books can bring people together no matter how far apart they are.

This is the Gaza Book Club. Our first book is The Motorcycle Diaries by Che Guevara. It means a lot to me. I’ll be reading it digitally and Alix will be reading a hard copy, so get it however works for you: ebook, paperback, hardcover, audiobook, library copy, all of it counts. If you need help finding a digital copy, just let me know and we’ll help you get one.

I’ll share my thoughts along the way, but I want to hear yours too. We’ll talk, trade favorite lines, maybe even do some live discussions together. You have one week to get your copy, and then we start reading together. Until then, we’ll keep posting updates, so follow along so you don’t miss the first check-in.

I’ll be honest with you about why I started this. Sometimes people hesitate to help a family they don’t know, and I understand that. So I wanted you to know us. My father, my mother, my younger siblings, and me. We need help to survive here, and this is our way of reaching out, not as strangers, but as people you’ve read with and talked with.

Read with me. Dream with me. Get to know us. Comment “I’m in” below if you’re joining 👇🤍

I am so damn tired of justifying my existence to pretentious vocabulary heavy able bodied white people.

I’m not part of your movement (I’m an anarcho mutualist) and you’ve never even tried to be my irl comrade. You’ve done only the opposite.

Calling people “comrade” without the support of the movement is as empty as people who over casually use “I love you” to people who aren’t more than an acquaintanceship.

I even talked to you multiple times, seeing if you could help me or just walk next to me at a demonstration…Just in case I get stranded on a hill or bricks in the street…because I’m likely to need help navigating, especially in a wheelchair. Where did that conversation go? 🤷🤷🤷

Funny how no one wants to practice what they preach, especially if it means something as small a ride or a buddy to just walk near me.

How tf can no one in this entire town roll up, tell me to get in the damn car, and then just chill walk beside me at a thing.

You know, just in case of a medical related issue or emergency. Suddenly can’t walk anymore or chair gets stuck. Not even asking anyone to actually help me, but to be there and make sure I’m not left behind alone in a medical event, etc.

Oh, dont forget, I’m also hyperverbal AuDHD. It’s marginalized Bingo, folx.
