Balisongs at Breakfast always….
☕️Coffee at breakfast ….not🤷🏻‍♂️

✨Sometimes, I’m making it in the middle of the day….for later.
As I’ve gotten older, I think I tolerate the lower acidity and mellow drinkability of light roasted beans better.

✨And my daughters have always catered to me over the years, by gifting me cool new coffee “gear”☕️
✨My gals gifted packages from some bougie NYC roasters,
that kinda specialize in lighter roasting of Ethiopian landrace species that are grown in South America.
✨Check out SEY coffee in Brooklyn.
✨So liquid-y smooth going down…never sour or bitter …just wonderful. And though it looks weak, it ain’t.
🔥Light roasts are amazing that way🥰

✨Balisongs in play:
Two V2 limited edition XOLO blades mounted on a V2 handle set,
✨and a dress Timascus Reaper handle set🔥

✨Both refinished with custom anodization & tuning by @bali_jesus 🔥

Possible Late Night, in The Balisong Desert 🏜️

Manna from Heaven does not include coffee. ☕️

Best light roast coffee I’ve ever had, is roasted & sourced by @seycoffee in Brooklyn, NYC
SO light and smoooth! I couldn’t recommend it higher🥰. Grind it COARSE 🙏🏼

Brief stir, to settle the bed…..using the Dressed REAPER , with full-channel, micro-milled TiMascus handles.
The toothy blade is a V2 XOLO Damascus : all from Hector of @blackbalisong

Matchin’ bite marker from @zippybalisong for the sheer sake o’ colorway🥲

Incidental Import Artifact

fliptastic_flipping_29

(really been messing with 0.85x at 60fps lately)

I really like how this one came together. The Xolo/Reaper seams to be the bali in my collection that just keeps on growing with me as I find my style and progress as a flipper skill wise. Feel, finish, performance, size, the Xolo/Reaper on v2 reaper handles feels really intentionally designed/mismatched comboed, and every time I flip it I get excited for what else Black Balisong is cooking up. The backside of the blade really forces me to think differently for spine rules spine grabs and blade grabs. I really think balisongs that make your mind be forced to think about flipping differently are useful and help you grow out of rigidity of comfort, and this balisong is a great example of such.

✨”On The Fence…..” I’m thinking that in my collection, I have rarely acquired duplicate knife models, except for Balisong variants!🤔

✨I only have 2 folder models that I have duplicates of! These are special for sure!🔥
✨The Spyderco JaniSong is a balisong-like tactical knife, long banned for sale in the USA.
This year, I think they started selling them again here! These were exclusively made in the Taichung Foundry.

✨The others are recent acquisitions from @reateknives . These 2 sleek futuristic double-detent folders, are designed by esteemed German designer Steven Kempa of @vulpex_knives 🔥🏆🔥
They are the VK-TRON

AND so many Balisong variants, 2 Alpha Beasts, 2 Replicants, 2 Reapers, 2 XOLO
