@herschelsupply’s creative director at the time would get their lookbooks to me and I’d illustrate a flow through every single page. I tend to illustrate 90-95% in nothing but sharpies or pens. So if I fuck up, I gotta’ figure out a way to work it in.

Originally this was going to say, “THRILL TO KILL”. But after I finished the big and bold “THRILL” in the center of this big lookbook, I was stoked. The background on this page was a beautiful blonde girl at the beach.

I love to do this old school, Chicano, horror-punk style lettering, which I’ll share in some more personal art soon!

If anyone wants to collaborate on some gnarly art projects, let me know.

Prosegold’s Moonlight Exile: Ode to Yesterday

Miami, FL – Prosegold, Miami’s own enigmatic singer-songwriter, emerges from the pain and wreckage of earlier days with Moonlight Exile, a record that stands as both an epitaph and a warning. This isn’t just an album—it’s a final goodbye to a life of teetering on the edge of oblivion, a life that’s now only visible in the rearview mirror. Moonlight Exile didn’t come easy.

Nothing good ever does, as they say. This album, forged in the fires of personal ruin and the slow crawl toward redemption, took a lifetime to write. It bleeds with the weariness of someone who’s spent too many nights in the wrong places, looking for something, anything. These are not songs for the faint of heart. They are confessions, prayers, and postmortems all at once. The record is an exploration of darkness, but it’s also the exit strategy—the final note in a long, winding melody that no one ever expected would end.

There’s no romanticizing the past here, just the cold, hard truth: Moonlight Exile is a farewell to madness, to everything that once chained us to the depths. Prosegold’s music won’t leave you unscathed. His lyrics cut deep, leaving scars that only time and distance can heal. But that’s the point. Moonlight Exile isn’t about easy listening—it’s about survival, about crawling out of the muck and standing, shaking but alive, on the other side. A passage through the river Styx with a somber captain. While this album took a lifetime to create, it’s only the beginning. Prosegold’s journey continues, and there are many more chapters to be written. For now, though, Moonlight Exile is the first—and perhaps most important—signpost on that road.

This album is a collaboration between Slept Records and Mad Good Records. Digitals in December, Physicals in January.
