Has been a blast behind the helm!!

Some cool opportunities, learnt heaps and met plenty of good buggers along the way!!

The end game is running my own boat for Strictly land-based any boat builders want to partner up 💪

With the Trout and Perch smashing bait on the surface I thought id give a floating lure a go. So flicked out a @blackmagictackle Bmax 60 in the colour Golden tiger. It did not disappoint

Looking back I’m not sure what I could have done differently to land this fish, I think jamming him a bit harder when he struck might have helped but at the same time I got it right to the bank before it spat it.
Heart breaking but also very fun to get a bit of action for once.

Very nice to put the new combo to the test, certainly feels good under load.
Keen to have a bit more of a go at this and try and get one on the bank 👌

Have you ever heard the saying “Should’ve been here yesterday”? Well, today was yesterday. All our boats who fished today caught multiple jumbos. Absolute tripof a lifetime for a lucky few! Great teamwork, great attitudes. We appreciate you all! Thank you for choosing Mexican Gulf!
