Culture Classics is being built to create space for our music to be experienced with the depth, intention, and cultural context it deserves, while creating greater visibility, access, and opportunity for Black orchestral talent. This collaboration with Black Orchestral Network (@blackorchestralnetwork) brings those ideas together in a meaningful way: honoring the music that shaped us while investing in the people who will help carry it forward. Presenting…. The Culture, Composed. 🎼🎶 @bigzakwallace

Our student musicians brought their absolute best to every single session, and the energy was unmatched. Swipe through to look back at the magic, the mentorship, and the brilliant minds shaping the future of music. An event of this impact doesn’t happen alone. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the partners who stand behind our mission and our students: 🔹 The Sphinx Organization (@sphinxorg ) – Thank you for your vital support of this event through the MPower Grant! Your dedication to transforming lives through the power of diversity in the arts makes experiences like this possible. 🔹 Black Orchestral Network (@blackorchestralnetwork ) – Thank you for keeping our students fueled and energized by funding our group lunches! We also want to give a massive shoutout to the phenomenal David Norville for lending his time and wisdom as a mentor during our speed networking session.
