I wish I had endless words on the page to talk about the healthcare injustice, neglect, inequity and medical trauma being enacted on the trans community at the moment, especially with the incredibly concerning news from Wales this week.

I wanted to make sure all of the resources at the end of the article are also shared on instagram. All of these authors, communities and groups have taught me so much.

Grateful to have been able to co-author this one alongside the incredible @soafrodiziac

Sending love to everyone facing medical injustice every day. I’m not going to stop talking about the vital need for inclusive, accessible, holistic healthcare for everyone - services that don’t cater to the most marginalised and oppressed groups do not cater well at all. Health equity helps us all. 💜💜💜

We believe trans liberation must be inclusive and intersectional and that challenging racism within our own communities is part of that work. This fundraiser is a small but meaningful way for us to show solidarity and support the vital work of Black Trans Alliance.

🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️A LETTER TO MY TRANS YOUTH 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

Hey you,
Today The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the current administration in banning you from playing sports. I want you to know that this fight that we are currently fighting isn’t about your imperfections or your feelings of being afraid or left out.

We have people in office currently actively seeking to destroy people who look like you and I and I know that it’s scary but know that you have a community of people from all over the world that care about you and are actively fighting against these things.

Pick your head up for this too shall pass. No one will ever understand what it feels like to in your true identities. My life hasn’t been the easiest either so I get how you may be feeling. Turn those feelings into a flame and lean on community in times of sadness.

I PROMISE to always use my voice and platform for change. Joy cometh in the morning I promise.

🌈✨ DAY 16 & 17: COMPLIMENT CHALLENGE + LEARN A NEW SKILL ✨🌈

Pride is not only about being seen.
It is also about how we show up for one another
and how we continue to grow.

A genuine compliment can remind someone they are valued, beautiful, brilliant, and worthy.
A new skill can open doors, build confidence, deepen knowledge, and expand what is possible for our Village.

Both matter. Both insure growth. Both inspire greatness. ❤️🖤💚

During Pride, these acts help us pour love back into ourselves and each other.
Beyond Pride, they help build the kind of community we say we want:
one that is encouraging,
one that is affirming,
one that keeps learning,
one that keeps evolving.

So today, challenge yourself to do both.

❤️ Offer kindness freely.
💡 Stay curious intentionally.
🌈 Help someone feel seen.
🌱 Help yourself keep growing.

Because growth and affirmation should never be seasonal.

Today, we honor the fathers.

The seasoned fathers whose wisdom has been earned through years of lessons, laughter, sacrifice, and love.

The new fathers who are still finding their footing, learning that there is no perfect roadmap—only presence, patience, and purpose.

We honor the fathers who tried.

The ones who got some things right, some things wrong, and woke up each day determined to do better than the day before.

We honor the fathers who grieve.

Those carrying the weight of children lost, dreams altered, moments missed, or milestones they wish they could witness.

We honor those grieving their fathers.

Those carrying love, longing, unanswered questions, complicated memories, or wounds still learning how to heal.

We honor the men who stepped in when they didn’t have to.

The uncles, mentors, coaches, teachers, Elders, Leather leaders, community builders, and chosen family who saw a need and answered it with action.

The village fathers.

The ones who offered guidance where there was confusion, protection where there was danger, and encouragement where there was doubt.

We honor those who still dream of fatherhood.

Those holding space for hopes not yet realized and futures still unfolding.

We honor the fathers who create safety.

The men who build homes, communities, organizations, and gathering spaces where people feel seen, valued, protected, and empowered to grow.

The fathers who teach by example that strength and tenderness can live in the same hand.

The fathers who remind us that leadership is not measured by control, but by care.

And today, we celebrate every father, every father figure, every village protector, every mentor, every man striving to leave people better than he found them.

May your labor be recognized.
May your sacrifices be remembered.
May your love be felt.
May your legacy continue.
