It’s that time of year again!

We are excited to share our second-annual Trans Youth Holiday Microgrants. Deadline to apply by Monday, December 18th at 11:59 PM CST.

Transformations is donating funds to support trans and nonbinary young people in our Missouri, Kansas, and Northwest Arkansas region who struggle to stay safe without traditional family support.

We'll prioritize funds supporting youth who are on their own and need access to gender-affirming care, purchase clothing and household items, and financially support themselves independently.

This year, our newly formed Community Advisory Board will make decisions on microgrants, comprising a select group of regional and national trans leaders of color dedicated to uplifting the mission of Transformations.

For youth to apply, please submit a short video:

- The video should be 3 min or less
- Tell us about yourself and how you qualify for this grant!
- Include your name, age, pronouns, and where you live in our region.
- How will this microgrant financially support you?
- What is the best way to virtually pay you? (Cashapp or Paypal only)
- Be sure to send the video to us by email at transformationskc@gmail.com
- We will inform recipients and pay folks by Friday, December 29.

Be sure to join us on our “Hey Sis!” three different Instagram Live conversations we’ll host Wednesday, December 6th, Tuesday, December 12th, and Monday, December 18th. All at 6 pm CST.

Join us as we share tips on how to apply and allow youth to ask questions and learn more on our Instagram: @KCTransformations

Don’t forget - The application deadline is Monday, December 18th at 11:59 PM CST!

Oh, and allies! If you would like to support us by providing microgrants to trans and nonbinary youth this season, feel free to reach out to us directly or donate on our active social media campaign, directly on our Cash app or PayPal, or through our website at transformationskc.org/donate

Happy holidays everyone <3
