NINE!

Nine years in, and somehow y’all got this little indie salon onto the Best of Vancouver podium just in time for our birthday. Talk about floating on a rhinestone cloud! 💎⛅️

As the queen herself says, “If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.” Well, we’ve had nine years of both, but we wouldn’t trade it, look at the magic we’ve created. 🌈

Never been more proud of our team, of our space, the work we’re doing and the humans we get to hang with.😭

Shocked, humbled, so very, very proud!

Nine is Nothing but Magic, Okay?

Thank you for all the laughs and rainbows.
Love you all!

Well, this was a surprise! 🥉😭

We found out we were nominated for Best Hair Salon in the Georgia Straight’s 30th annual Best of Vancouver just a few days before voting closed, and somehow you all got us onto the podium anyway. 🤯

We’re a little independent shop in Mount Pleasant, so seeing our name up there next to some of the biggest salons in the city has us feeling very shocked and very humbled. 🫶🫶🫶

Thank you to every single person who voted, booked, referred a friend, or sat in our chairs this year. To our amazing talented gorgeous team, this one is all ours!

Nine years of unicorn hair this Sunday. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate.

🦄 🎁💝🎉🎊🥳👏😭🌈

September

The sun is still shining, the flowers are still growing, but this is the month we let the spooky out. Not that there’s any wrong time for a gold skeleton. 🧡💀

Or for visits from our animal friends. Or for great hair.

Thanks for a good one.
See you in October.

Autumn Equinox

Light and dark are perfectly even today, and then it’s officially cozy season. 🍂

We’re feeling very grateful for this little salon, our wild and wonderful team, and every one of you who sits in our chairs. 🧡

What are you grateful for this season?

August

A month for colours, giggles, so many snacks and perhaps too much sweating??

Never ever boring with this crew and there’s no one we’d rather paint rainbows with.

Who’s ready for autumn?

CAVE(WO)MEN! We loved making these prosthetics for this @sap shoot, and in such a speedy turnaround. Thanks to all the fantastic artists who helped make this happen. Cool to see a pro AI ad, being made practically. Let’s do more of these!
