On October 24, 2026, we’re bringing Baltimore’s Black LGBTQ+ community, allies, chosen families, survivors, supporters and community organizations together for an evening centered around safety, belonging, healing, connection, celebration, remembrance and resources.

The Village Walk is the inaugural community walk presented by The Village Project Foundation.

This is more than a walk — It is a reminder that community still exists and that nobody has to navigate life alone.

NO ONE WALKS ALONE. 🌸

And when the walk ends, the Village experience continues. Come meet some of the people and organizations showing up for our community, grab something to eat and enjoy the vibe.

Registration is FREE and everyone who comes in love and support of our community is welcome.

Last weekend we had a great time vending with @blaqequitybmore and @bmoreblaqpride at their Blaq Outside Block Party! This was part of their extensive Baltimore Black Pride programming and we were so glad to be included. A special shoutout to @djnukicks for looking out for us before, during, and after the event!

Thank you to @blaqequitybmore for inspiring me to get back into making clothes! I loved creating this Wonderland themed look for the Gala last week. It was a quick turnaround but I was able to complete the look and capture the process. Currently opening the books for some new projects, so if you have a concept you want to bring to life, DM me and let’s chat! 💙🧜🏾‍♀️🤗

🌈🌈📖📖A history lesson for #lgbtqhistorymonth and @bmoreblaqpride: some of the Black queer trailblazers who started our movement and helped build Baltimore’s LGBTQ+ community. Meet Paulette, André, and Louis!

If you want to learn more about them and hear them talk about the earliest days of LGBTQ+ advocacy onward, there’s a whole set of interviews I did with them at @prattlibrary on the website Digital Maryland.

And come by Nov 5 to @theclubcarbaltimore to hear EVEN MORE about the legacy of Black queer activism in the city!!!
