We’d like to extend a special thank you to everyone who came out to Clay Space during @greenpointopenstudios and @brooklynceramicartstour!

Thank you to all of our members, volunteers, throwdown judges & teams, Mike our fantastic MC, food vendors and sponsors, Jill, Nic and everyone else who had a hand in putting together BCAT. We truly couldn’t have done it without a single one of you.

A special thank you to @brooklynartstudios and Greenpoint Industrial Center for providing the space, tables, and tents so we can continue to put on such an incredible event every year. You all really went above and beyond to make this a standout open studios!

We had such a good time and we’re already thinking about next year!

‘His Dark Descent (Amazon’s secret sales section is filled with ultra-luxe fashion bargains!)’ | stoneware amphora | 19” x 13”

This series of large amphoras came out of a collaboration with incredibly talented Michael Gundlach @blockbouillon who threw these large amphoras which I adorned and painted. Fired at @clayspace_bk

The theme of this one is the apocalypse, seen through the sharp eyes of @starmagazine for your viewing pleasure.

I love a good drip but they are sooo unpredictable! These are looking drip-a-licious! 🩸🤩🤩💧

Many thanks to @blockbouillon for his patience with my questions and glaze chemistry tips as I tested combos and crossed my fingers!

More combos on the way!

As I don't have an actual shop right now, DM me if you're interested!

This past weekend’s soda firing workshop with @huntercadyart was all about exploring glaze effects. Participants experimented with layering, flashing slips, and glazes to push surfaces in new directions. From subtle blushes to bold drips, the results were full of beauty.
