I’m very excited to announce I will be teaching a breastfeeding preparation class this fall! This class is offered in partnership with Bloomfield, NJ Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department. Open to all parents expecting to meet their new baby within 5 months of the date of the class. This 2 hour class is led by Kathryn McLaughlin, an experienced and compassionate Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Participants will learn about their feeding choices, the benefits of human milk for infants and mothers, how and when to feed your baby, common challenges and resources to get more support. Interactive class with opportunities to practice holding baby dolls, look at breast pumps and other supplies and of course ask questions. You will leave with a cheat sheet to guide you for the early days.

Sign up is through the Bloomfield Twp Parks and Rec page. Link in bio. The person planning to breastfeed can register in their name. Registration fee covers a support person who does not need to register separately. Non-residents are welcome but subject to an out of town fee ($10).

What an incredible turnout! 🙌💈🎒
Sunday’s Back-to-School event in Bloomfield was a huge success! We’re grateful to every family, kid, and supporter who came out and helped make the day special.

At The Legends Room Grooming Bar, it’s about more than haircuts. It’s about giving back, building confidence, and being part of the community we call home.

Thank you, Bloomfield! ❤️

I had a fantastic time at the Bloomfield Civic Band concert “A Night at the Movies” as part of the summer concert series sponsored by the Bloomfield Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs Department! 🎺🥁

It was a beautiful night at the historic Town Green getting to hear music from classic movies! 🎬🍿
