SYDNEY - for one night only, California Girls will launch the new album Wheel of Ashes in band format, playing a newly arranged, “deconstructed, raw + semi-blackened post-punk” version of the album in full. Taking place at THE CHIPPO on DECEMBER 19, California Girls’ band is comprised of Sydney’s sexiest: Darren Lesaguis of @perfect.actress and @w0rlds0nly on guitar, Carmen of @scum.noise and @hunnyhardcore on bass, and the singular Christian @grasps_ on drums. Also performing is dark ambient noise lord @obelisk__.__ playing a solo set, and another mysterious act soon to be revealed…

I’m going to remember @blue____void Hallowe’en for a really long time. Thank you sm Marcus for bringing all of us together 🖤 Thank you to everyone who attended 💙 Hope you enjoy this lil ~video diary entry~ thing hehe! Thank you @celinc_c for capturing this moment of me improvising vocals to the score I made for @mngny_ and @esky.esk’s horror short film ‘Third Eye’ ~ it felt like a fitting way to end my set hehe🫀🦋

An absolute dream to be part of the night alongside:

WEYÓN & LUKIAH @w3y0n

SOCIETY OF CUTTING UP MEN @scum.noise

ANGUS MCGRATH @free_wificore

ANDREA ILLÉS + MARCUS WHALE @_purple_stars_expleting_
