hosting for fall and baking banana bread! RECIPE -my no-measure banana bread 🍌🤎

I basically measure everything with my heart, so adjust as needed.

ingredients
• 3–4 ripe bananas
• 1 egg
• splash of almond milk
• splash of vanilla extract
• gluten-free oats, blended into flour
• cinnamon
• pumpkin pie spice
• baking soda
• dark chocolate chips
• mini white chocolate chips
• chopped walnuts
• coconut oil for greasing

how I make it

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Blend gluten-free oats until they have a flour-like consistency.
3. Mash bananas with a fork.
4. Mix in 1 egg, a splash of almond milk + vanilla.
5. Add blended oats, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice + baking soda.
6. Fold in dark chocolate chips, mini white chocolate chips + chopped walnuts.
7. Grease your pan with coconut oil. For a loaf/pan, I line it with parchment first and lightly grease the parchment too.
8. Pour in the batter + top with extra chopped walnuts.
9. Bake mini bites for about 15 minutes and the larger loaf/pan for about 30 minutes, or until cooked through.

That’s it 🤎

As a vegan, it’s important that not just my food is vegan, but all products I use around the house are also vegan. Here are some great vegan and cruelty free brands that are better for you and the animals!

I’ve personally used @getcleanpeople for years and love it. They even have an alternative to Oxi Clean, vegan fabric softeners, dishwasher soap, and so much more!

first official monthly book report ☕️📖

i originally bought Lagom because it looked cute on the shelf but it ended up calling me out more than i expected. i’m genuinely terrible at knowing when enough is enough. there’s always one more email, one more video to edit, one more thing i should be doing.

the book itself is simple and sometimes a little idealized, but i liked that it didn’t give me another impossible routine to follow. my favorite reminder: everything will never be finished, so resting can’t depend on that 💡

8/10, would recommend to anyone whose brain constantly has 27 tabs open.

what should i read in november?

When I tell you the amount of research I did before this trip was actually insane…the type A in me was really showing and my husband thought I was crazy 😂 (fyi I am crazy)

Are these items ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY? No…BUT they made the trip so much easier & smoother, and you just want things to be as easy as possible when you’re traveling with a baby!!!

Comment BEACH to get 🔗 to these products (or just find them yourself idc but I appreciate y’all who support my affiliate links 😂)

If you know me, you likely know I’m a big fan of @blueland 💙

When I found their dishwasher detergent tablets at @costco I literally did a happy dance (for me, but honestly for YOU! (let’s make healthier choices easier!))💃

Why I’m making the change to Blueland once I finish using up the bucket ‘o Cascade pods:
✨ they are plastic-free
✨ fragrance-free
✨ have third party certifications that I value (@epagov Safer Choice + @leapingbunnyprogram 🐰)
✨ cost LESS per wash 😎

If you want to learn more about these kinds of shifts & what “non-toxic” actually means, grab a (free!) ticket to my virtual chat on Fri Nov 13, 12pm CST 🎟️

Sunday in the Crocker house 🤍

No crazy to-do list. No filming (well… except this). Just slow mornings, quiet time, and a whole lot of getting ready for the week ahead.

Sundays are protected around here. It’s how I show up for the rest of the week.
