Humility was the intention for attending. Community was the reward. Huge shoutout to @neemcoffeeproject @sunaocoffee.usa for hosting an opportunity to brew, taste, and learn. To the judges @almondnoon @morgandrinkscoffee @joeyangpnw for taking time to taste, critique, sharing concise feedback/suggestions for every cup. To the competitors who I was honored to have shared the stage with, and spectators who took the time and interest in our passion. Commitment to education is a noble cause. The generosity and kindness is rooted in the coffee community, and I am deeply inspired by the culture in Portland. Here's to continued growth. Learning doesn't stop. :)

We hosted our first ever Queer and Trans Job Fair and here’s the stats We had twelve employers from diverse sectors tabling & providing resources. We reached out to over 900 employers across Multnomah, Washington and Clark County asking them to table Over 1800 people have reached out inquiring about this event 700 people filled out the registration form in the first hour & 180 were able to attend due to building capacity We had 4 volunteers plan and run this event. These events are a labor of love and the joy from these events make all the hard work worth it. We will be working to figure out how to make these regular events going forward. ❤️ Thank you to everyone who tabled, to @peacock.pdx who hosted and to everyone who attended!

We’re excited to announce the queer and trans job fair lineup! ✨✨✨✨Sign ups are full!✨✨✨ We have a lot of amazing folks putting a lot of work into this event 🙂‍↔️ This event has been a true labor of love and we hope to continue to host job fairs like this one in the future both in person and virtually. This is a NO MONEY EXCHANGED event. You do not to pay for anything to attend and vendors did not pay to table. @peacock.pdx donated the space for the event.

On June 13th we held the first ever Queer Cute Trans Day of Care. The idea for this event was simple, free care and resources to trans folks by trans and or queer folks. No money exchanged, just queer and trans joy. This event went so well and the feedback was so overwhelmingly good that we’ve decided to continue doing this event regularly. We’re still mapping out if that will be monthly or bi monthly. If you are a vendor & want to provide free resources, please reach out! Thank you to everyone who participated & to every volunteer who helped make this happen. 💕 Events like the Queer Cruise allow us to invest in mutual aid projects like this one & we’re so excited to be able to expand and provide larger mutual aid events in the future (like a Trans Job Fair!!!) Such a thoughtful and sweet event by @queercute_ and @coralstorybeauty this weekend 💗💅🔮✨ All types of Free services for Trans Folks were provided! The space was beautiful. The day was dreamy. All the people were so kind and thankful. I even got a wonderful facial by Morning Dove, who owns @coralstorybeauty. And tasty drink @tender.tastings. Highly recommended!

We are hosting at Coral Story for our friends at @queercute_ and @tender.tastings Entirely free event focused on serving our Trans & Non Binary communities. We will have so many wonderful resources for you 🤲🏼 from acupuncture with @al.reed.acu massage from @solace.wellness.pdx Our very own estheticians Morning Dove and Mackenzie @beginning.within will be providing skincare consultations and mini facials Beauty offerings include intentional makeup lessons with @under.bloom and haircuts from @badhairdaypdx And SO many more resources and activities thanks to @glittermentalhealth.pdx @tabularasaelectrolysis @topsurgeryboxpdx @shrimply_keels @dykecrafts First come, first served.
