Three seasons of your BFF.

There’s always something to sow, something to plant and something I probably should’ve done yesterday.

But before I get too busy dreaming about what’s next, I want to take a moment to appreciate what’s already here.

Here’s a little look back at how Bunches Flower Farm has grown.

GARDEN DESIGN SERIES EPISODE 6 — The Finished Design

There is something incredibly exciting about delivering a finished garden design.

After all the conversations, measuring, problem solving, drawing, refining and plant selection, I finally get to hand over the plan and say, this is your garden.

For Katie and Rob, this master plan covers their entire estate. That doesn't mean they need to create it all at once.

One of the most valuable things about having a master plan is that they can break the garden into smaller, manageable stages. They can tackle one area at a time, knowing that each stage will connect to the next and that the whole garden will have continuity and flow as it comes to life. It could become a three year project, and that's completely okay.

Having the bigger picture means they can make better decisions along the way, save time, energy and money, and avoid having to undo things later because they didn't know what was coming next.

And perhaps my favourite part is knowing that this plan is going to leave the page and become a real garden.
