Two years ago, I would not have wanted to be outside in this weather. The cold felt like torture at times. I loved the snow and the winter, but the cold often felt painful and, in some ways, a trigger reminder of some of my worst Grave's days.
Now, the cold... nature, is so inviting, and I welcome it. I enjoy it!

I trained for this!!! My body and mind.
I'm so glad I did because I enjoy this SO MUCH! Even the shoveling.

Thanks to @bmn.coach for helping me reconnect with nature on a deeper level.

P.S. Remember to stop, drop, and snow angel! Your inner child will thank you.

Some signs you might be living on overdrive: pushing through exhaustion, calling numbness ‘discipline’ ignoring hunger, overriding your body again and again.

If this resonates, you’ll likely feel deeply seen by the conversation I had with Jonathan Angelilli (@bmn.coach)

Thank you, Jonathan, for such a rich and grounding conversation. I didn’t realise how much I needed it until we were in it.

Call it impossible,
and you are suddenly
stuck in a box
of your own making.

Seek solutions;
embracing the Creative Heart,
mind, and body,
opens the doorway
to Infinite possibility.

When working within
the Center of Unity
that is the team,
the tribe, the family,
the impossible
becomes possible.

Grandmaster,
you have shown me
through your striving,
passion, and dedication,
that barriers & boundaries,
walls & limitations,
exist primarily
in my mind.

Grandmaster,
you have given me
the tools, the knowledge,
and the inspiration that I need
to break through barriers
and to reach beyond
what I believed
to be possible.

Grandmaster,
you have handed me
the keys to Infinity;
I hold these keys with great reverence,
awe, and astonishment,
wondering how far
will my Love take me ~

Last week, I had the great honour & privilege of carrying an Ipé 3/4 Fire Lance into & through the 2025 Tracker School Scout Class; the Lance was laden with sockets & notches waiting to challenge us, the students & staff, to make friction fire with a wood that's 3x harder than Oak, a feat that any sane person should consider impossible. Joe Lau @phyredojo , a Masterful teacher, meticulously crafted the Ipé lance to be a perfect example of making impossibilities a reality: through teamwork, the unmatched power of the toggle drill, and a trial & error process involving many failures, we finally found the technique, approach, & attitude that gave a near 100% success rate. It wasn't easy by any means; the Fire Lance demanded a tremendous effort from all of us; yet, the heart of each person in that Scout class was incredibly strong, and we all persevered together to find great success, profound learning, and tremendous joy!

Thank you Joe, what a gift you are, what a generous human Being, truly you are a Scout. Thank you Tom Brown, your flaming passion has lit many other fires through & beyond your life's journey, including the fire in my Heart. Thanks to everyone who came to Scout Class 2025 to receive the Sacred ways of this Lineage, and who put their energy into the Medicine Staff that is this Ipé Fire Lance.

~ Much Love ~

The coolest thing... evolution.

There have been moments where I felt like I was having my (emotional) insides ripped out and moments where I felt like they were all being put back inside. Dusted off, cleansed, refreshed, cared for, and strengthened.

On this journey, I've learned so much about myself. Like how much I absolutely love and need to be outside.

I've:

*Reconnected with myself. Including little me.
*I've healed mother wounds, and I've broken chains for future generations
*I've learned to walk away.
*I've leaned into even more forgiveness of myself and others.
*I've learned to breathe and quiet down my brain.
*I've learned to relax.
*I gave myself permission to prioritize myself.
*I uncovered strengths that were dormant. Locked away.
*My relationships have improved even more so.
*I've learned how to set boundaries.
*OH, and I didn't even mention the physical healing. As a Grave's disease warrior, I can report great improvements in my antibodies.

It's a wonder what we can heal when we learn to breathe.

I can truly go on and on with this list. It's quite thought-out and impactful, but I won't bore you with all of that.

The point is... we know these things. Movement. Nature. Stillness. Breathing. Touching. They're all HEALING!!!

Simple. Effective!

How delicious my sunny morning practice was today. ❤️🌞

Thank you @bmn.coach for the guidance. For being a great coach! For paying attention to your clients and knowing when they need a push or to be met gently.
