Dungeons and Dragons recap from last night - What a great evening filled with delicious food, great friends, and a lot of laughs… maybe some singing.

⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️

The #vulshpar5 had to pick locks and solve wooden block puzzles at the table while the party explored some dilapidated ruins. We came across a flesh golem locked in a room and defeated it. Hawken and Syljor rolled double critical fails (see pic 4) on a room search, and oddly enough didn’t find anything of interest 🤣😂

⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️

And since it was St. Patrick’s day, we had an Irish themed feast with corned beef sliders, stew, soda bread, Guinness cake, and several adult beverages (complete with dice shaped ice cubes) that were all delicious. We also tried some gummy dice and potions from a company called @dakotairishie that were great!

⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️

All in all, it was an amazing night full of friends and adventures, ending with even more food from chick fil a and more drinks and dessert. The party managed to find the lava seeds and get them back to the covered wagon, we found a mirror that was suspicious, and a magical cauldron filled with delicious hot stew, even though the rest of the surrounding rooms were falling into ruin. Onward to new adventures!

Remembering epic game nights with friends playing Heroscape and yelling at little plastic miniatures 🤣😂 Looking forward to seeing the new iteration from @avalonhillgames and how it compares with the awesomeness of the original!

Have you played Heroscape? #heroscape #myfriendsaresexierthanyours

The Tale of Calendra, Part 36: Orchestrating Reviews!

In the next three weeks you are in for an absolute treat of amazing content created by the magnificent reviewers of Calendra for Librarium Games!

Over the last 3-4 months we have been very busy preparing a beautiful suite of various reviews by our peers here on Instagram and on BGG. These reviewers each bring a totally different approach to the process: Some are great writers, some are great artists, almost all of them are wonderful photographers, a few have gone so far as to do video work with us, and every single one of them have been a delight to work with!

This year we have more than a dozen people who have taken in Calendra while we’ve been preparing for product launch, and if you’ve been paying attention you have probably already seen some snippets and sneak peeks of what they are preparing for you! On the Instagram side of things I really wanted to take a moment to celebrate how amazing it has been to only have a few copies of the game travel to such a variety of places across North America! As a small bit of humble thanks to these magnificent reviewers, I crafted up this map animation this past week to highlight the amazing journey that we have all shared together!

Here’s to you, our Instagram celebrities:
@boardgamekittens @tabletop_worldwide @sharondrawsboardgames @the_dragons_board @board.game.dad @boardgamesfortwo @magicandmeeples @theboardgamelibrarian

I cannot thank you enough for the help you have been, and it has been so great to work with all of you! I can’t wait to see the grand finale of your work as we head into the Kickstarter next week!

Congratulations @tabletop_worldwide for reaching 4k followers!! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! That's 4 hurray, you know why?

Because to celebrate me and a lot of friends were asked to share 4 games we are connected to somehow, and use #hurray4games. You can join the celebration too, share 4 games related somehow and use the tag.
And swipe right to see the 4 games of the other friends celebrating.

I decide to go with 4 games that had brought joy to my table.
1. Terraforming mars, Geez guys this game I love the theme and the huge box with the 3D tiles, it is an epic journey to transform Mars and terraforming it, and it's from the first games that I love playing and never bored me.

2.Foundations of Rome, this game bring me a lot of joy because has been so easy to share with my friends that are starting in the hobby, easy to teach and always so beautiful to put it on the table with all those miniature buildings.

3. No escape, this game is my favorite for when I have party night with many many people, you can play up to 8 and it is not slow or boring. Make it really fun to have a game that I can play with all friends and we have fun and enjoy.

4. The few and cursed. It is from the few games I enjoyed playing by myself, I enjoy that sólo mode and like the thematic of post-apocalyptic zombies western haha.

#MissInWords
Hello friendly community! We are celebrating 1k followers of our friend @miss.inpieces
And she ask us to choose a word that describe the way boardgames make us feel or mean something to us.

The word I choose is #ADVENTURE, because boardgames have allowed me to travel and experience so many adventures, from the thematic of the game, to really physically travel with friends, and met new friends in this journey that is playing boardgames.
You never know where the next adventure will be, or what people you will come across this journey.

It is amazing and so rewarding sharing this adventure with all this lovely and friendly community, and I'm so happy to celebrate my friend Vanessa for those 1000 followers, wish you thousands more! And that you keep going those adventures.

Please join me and all Vanessa's friends to this challenge using #missinwords and the word you choose.

Check the comments for all the friends tagged, and check the creative posts and reels from the different words everyone used.
