When it rains baby, it pours. And the last three weeks? Whew. šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø I would not wish on anyone There were moments when life felt like it was testing every ounce of my strength, faith, confidence, patience, and resilience. But hereā€™s what I know about myself: I donā€™t ever quit. My strength carried me. My work ethic kept me moving. My confidence reminded me who I am. My faith in God grounded me. And my self-faith reminded me that I am capable of getting through hard things. Sometimes the breakdown comes before the breakthrough. And sometimes the breakthrough isnā€™t that everything suddenly gets easier. Sometimes the breakthrough is realizing: Nothing that happens to you gets to decide who you are. So yesā€¦ thatā€™s me in the blue suit. And thatā€™s me smiling after the storm. Because I got through it. And when it comes to identity? January 2026 put everything into perspective. I moved through two profound losses that reminded me what truly matters. I showed up for community, helping organize Three Kings Day with the Yonkers Mayorā€™s Hispanic Advisory Board. Prioritize my faith, health and got a new bed because sleep is important. My team and I created vision boards, honored life and celebrated birthdays with a few of our favorite souls. I celebrated love, friendship, Alfredo, and another year around the sun with some of my favorite ladies (separate post coming soon) still celebrating, actually. And quietly, intentionally, Iā€™ve been preparing for a big announcement. Grief and gratitude can coexist. Purpose doesnā€™t pause. Joy is an act of courage.
